AFTERNOON SWEET FRIENDS,

SO HOW IS YOUR DAY GOING??

OURS HAS BEEN A LIL CRAZY AND
FRUSTRATING,  BUT THINK WE
HAVE ONE ISSUE FIGURED OUT
THANKFULLY,  WAITING FOR AN
ANSWER ON THE OTHER ONE.

HAD TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY
TRIP TO THE DENTIST THIS MORNING,
CAUSE I THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE
A TOOTH THAT WAS ABCESSING,
I REALLY THINK A LOT OF IT IS
SINUS PROBLEMS FROM ALLERGIES,
BUT I KEEP HAVING THIS LIL PIMPLE
POP UP IN THE SAME AREA.  IT POPS
UP AND IS GONE VERY QUICKLY.

BUT IT HAS HAPPENED A FEW TIMES,
AND THIS MORNING I WOKE UP
WITH MY ONE SIDE OF MY FACE A
 LIL SWOLLEN (IT ACTUALLY WENT
DOWN WITHIN 5-10 MINS. OF GETTING UP)
BUT I HAD THAT LIL PIMPLE THINGIE
AGAIN,  SO GOT ON LINE AND DID
SOME READING AND EVERY PLACE
I READ, THEY SAID TO GET TO THE
DENTIST IF YOU HAVE THAT!!
WONDERFUL!!  LOL

THEY DIDN'T SEE ANYTHING ON
THE X-RAY TO INDICATE AN ABCESS
 TOOTH THANKFULLY, SO THEY THINK
I MIGHT A LIL INFECTION IN MY GUMS.
SO THEY PUT ME ON ANTIBIOTICS.
IT'S CRAZY CAUSE I DON'T HAVE
ANY PAIN OR ANYTHING,  COURSE,
I PRAISE THE LORD FOR THAT!!

THEN, LATE THIS AFTERNOON SCOTT
AND MEGAN CAME TO PICK UP JOEY,
AND STAYED TO VISIT AWHILE.  WE
 ALL HAD DINNER TOGETHER TO
 CELEBRATE HIS NEW JOB.
 THEY ARE BOTH SO HAPPY.
HIS FIRST DAY ON THE JOB WILL BE
OUT OF TOWN GOING ON A TRIP TO
 A TOMATO GROWERS CONFERENCE.
HE WILL GET A KICK OUT OF
THAT I'M SURE!!

JIM FELT HIS INTERVIEW WENT
 PRETTY WELL BUT THESE THINGS
TAKE TIME.  IT WAS EXCITING
TO AT LEAST GET A CALL FOR
A CHANGE!!

NOW A HEART TIP
FINALLY!!  LOL

WANTED TO SHARE A LITTLE
FUN TREAT WE MAKE THAT IS
GOOD FOR YOU.

YOU WILL NEED:

A BANANA OR BANANAS (DEPENDING
ON HOW MUCH YOU WANT TO MAKE)

HERSHEY'S DARK CHOCOLATE SYRUP

FINELY CHOPPED PECANS OR
 YOUR FAVE TYPE OF NUTS.

SLICE THE BANANAS UP ON A WAX
OR PARCHMENT PAPER COVERED
COOKIE SHEET,  PUSH THEM CLOSE
TOGETHER,  THEN DRIZZLE CHOCOLATE
SYRUP ON THEM AND THEN SPRINKLE
THEM WITH NUTS.

NOW PUT THEM IN THE FREEZER FOR
AT LEAST 20-30 MINUTES OR SO TILL
THE BANANA SLICES FREEZE.
THEN EAT!!

A YUMMY, FUN AND HEALTHY
TREAT

HAPPY EATING!!

NOW HERE IS A PRODUCT WE HAVE
BEEN USING FOR QUITE A WHILE
THAT HAS NO BAD STUFF IN IT.

WE HAVE USED THE COLD CUTS
AND THE BACON.  THEY ARE BOTH
VERY GOOD AND HAVE NO NITRATES
OR NITRITES,  WHICH IS A VERY GOOD
THING,  AND THE BACON FREEZES WELL.

YOU WILL PROBABLY LAUGH AT
THIS NEXT ONE.

YES, YOU SEE RIGHT!!

THEY ARE BABY PRUNES,  YOU
CAN USE THEM IN BROWNIES
TO MAKE THEM MOIST RATHER
THAN USING OILS.  WE TRIED
IT AND IT WORKED GREAT!!

WELL,  MAKE SURE TO KEEP
A HAPPY HEALTHY HEART!!

LOVE, BLESSINGS AND HUGS,
NELLIE

Hi Nellie,

About that tooth or gum problem. Be sure to watch it closely. I worked for oral surgeons for many years, over 20 and one thing I learned is that sometimes general dentists don't know as much about this sort of thing. If you get a facial swelling watch it carefully. They tend to balloon up rather quickly. The Abs will make it subside for awhile but it may come back when you go off. If it does check with a surgeon. E-mail me or call me if you have questions I might be able to help you. 925-408-0728

Take care of yourself.

Love, B

Glad you are getting the gum problem under control. And thankful that it hasn't caused much pain. Hope the antibiotics solve the problem!

Love that banana recipe! I am definitely going to try that. Love bananas. Enjoy your day!

I'm glad the tooth wasn't anything serious. I'm also glad Scott got the job. Did I miss that post? Very exciting news for your family.

ooh, sorry about your gum infection. Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly and totally solve the problem.

I'm so glad Scott got the job. Hope it's even better than he expects.

Praying also that Jim gets the job he interviewed for.

I LOVE that recipe for the chocolate bananas. I am definitely going to try that. When my kids were little, I used to take bananas and coat them with natural peanut butter, then roll them in wheat germ, then freeze them. They were tasty, but your dark chocolates ones sound even better...really decadent and rich!!

Finally, did you get the emails I sent you a few days ago? I seem to be having problems with my email, because a couple friends have said they haven't gotten emails I know I sent. So, let me know if you didn't get them.

Hope your day is abundantly blessed.

Love and blessings,
Patti

When I eat foods with a lot of acidity, I sometimes get a little "bubble" on the soft tissue. I reach back and pop it. It immediately goes away. It usually happens when I eat a lot of tomatoes, Itialian Dressing, O.J. It may be the vinegar in the dressing.

I am just so happy for Scott. I have spent the last few days since you shared, praising and thanking our LORD!

I'm also praying for Jim to get great news!

I have about 5 bananas (still in the peels) frozen in the freezer. I need to use some of them with your recipe!

I love you all,
Susie

Thanks for coming by Nellie and leaving sweet comments. You don't have to comment everytime. There is no time to possibly do that on every blog. We would be on her 24 hours a day. I see you are eating healthy. We need to do better. I do try to serve healthy meals here, but when we go out it probably is not prepared right. Sorry about your tooth problems. I have had sinuses making my teeth hurt on and off.
