Tablescape Thursday - Winter table #2

Hello Sweet Friends,

So how are you this fine Wednesday??
Finer that frog hair??  As my hubby
would say!!  lol
Hope so!!

It is a good thing I got so much done last week......
cause the last 2 days I have not been very productive
at all.  Something is out of place in my back and my
back was hurting all day yesterday along with a nice
headache.  Everytime I move the wrong way it takes
my breathe away..........but not in a good way!!  lol

But I am happy to report I am feeling mucho
better today,  thank goodness!!
Haven't gotten much physical work done today
either,  but we have accomplished spiritual and
relational work,  so that is even better.
We all need time for that!

Well, here my 2nd Winter Tablescape.
This was from last Saturday.

Decided to use a fruit bowl in the centerpc.
with some candles and potpourri.

Remember I told you I made some cute place cards???
Well,  here they are!!

I have had these separate lil salt and peppers
for a long time and haven't used them,  but
thought I would put them and a small butter
dish between each couple so we didn't have
to do so much passing at the table.

Here is my placecard.....you will see it again but changed
by photoshop affects at the end of the post

A nice overview shot!!

and another!!  I have to say I love this tablecloth,
it is so versatile and goes with so much.
Would have never thought to look for one
this color, but just happened on to it last year.
It has been a huge blessing many times already.

The candle on the left is a yankee candle called "Cranberry
woods" and does it have the nicest aroma.  Just wonderul!!

As I told you before I use reds to decorate
for Winter,  so this is totally normal colors
for us this time of year!

DeeAnna gave me the fruit bowl and it has
mostly wooden fruit in it,  but I always jazz
it up a lil in Winter with some red faux
 apples, and grapes..

This is from the other side of the table.

This is also from the opposite side of the table.

This is from one end of the table

This has a posterized affect.

This is the normal picture.
Gotta get some candlelight in here too!!

This is posterized

So Glad you dropped in............
Great hearing from you!!

Have a Wild Wednesday!!

Make sure to check back after
10 P.M. tonight as I will be linking

  7. Lovely, Nellie! I sure wish I had a set of dishes like yours as I am planning tow dinner parties for February and I need white dishes. guess I may have to go looking for some! I bet it was nice to meet Megan's parents. That is always a nice thing to have behind you. Once you find out they are just sweet ordinary people everyone relaxes.

I hope you are feeling better. Don't you just hate it when you throw your back out? It is painful and really slows us down. But then that part may not be all that bad. Hope you are resting! I had not good reason but just didn't do a lit today. I read my books and blogged and watched a movie and did a little cleaning and laundry and that was it.

Jim is determined to do our day trip tomorrow. Yikes they come around too fast for me but they are so enjoyable. This weekend we are going to my brother's place in Napa for the Super Bowl. Could not care less about football but I do love getting together with my brothers and their wives. Napa is so beautiful and only about an hour from here. I'll take some photos to share next week.

Hope you and Jimmy are having some fun! Anything new with the old boss or anything?

    Talk to you soon!

    Love, B

  10. What a welcoming "country" table! I love how you combined the floral with the red and white check. It really "pops!"

Sorry to hear about your back. Been there-done that! Thank goodness for a great chiropractor!
