Welcome to Thankful Thursday - July 17, 2014 and Part 2 of pictures of playing, practicing and experimenting.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach
and admonish one another with all wisdom,
and as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs
with gratitude in your hearts to God.
Colossians 3:16

Greetings Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds you doing well,
and having a really great week.

We have been having a really great week........
We have been experiencing the exciting thing I
told you about last week, as you will see in my
#1 thankful.............lol
Also, as I told you in Tuesday's post, I am showing
you the rest of the pics from my play, practice
and experimenting day, hence the vignette
pictures.  If you missed part 1 and would like
to see it,  just click here.

Well, gonna get on with my list................

I am thankful

#1
that we have been in North Carolina since last
Saturday visiting with our daughter and son-in-love,
and Grand daughter dog......
DeeAnna, Jerry and Rosie, and have been having
 a great time.

#2
that hubby's Co. let's him work remotely so that
we can make these trips.

#3
that we have had several fun shopping trips this week.
Didn't really buy much, but it was just fun to be out
shopping together.

#4
that I got to go with Dee to show a house. Such a fun
adventure about 40 mins. away from where they live.
The house was right across from Chimney Rock State
Park and had these huge windows on the 2nd floor
and a deck on the 3rd floor, and the view was
 totally Amazing!
You could see a creek running along the road,  and
then of course, trees and trees and huge mountains,
 Totally breathtaking!!
She also took us to see a model home....she is
trying to entice us into moving here......lol

#5
for all the beauty the Lord creates and puts around us
for our enjoyment.  Nobody creates like God does,
 that is for sure...........

#6
that we saw a cute lil beaver running across
the road,  tried to get a shot of him but he was
too fast.  lol  Never saw one up close and
personal before and you know how I love
wildlife................lol

#7
that Dee has only had to work one day this week,
so it has been nice to get the max out of our visit,
and I think too, she has really needed the break
with all that has been going on in the last
 few months.

#8
that the workers are all finally finished in their house,
even tho the floors were done and they were able to
get the furniture back in, which was a huge praise!!
the workers still have been here most of the week
making new baseboards in some areas, then painting
them, and putting the quarter round back on, then after
the fellow painted some of them he realized the paint
color wasn't exactly right and had to redo them.
So they finally finished Thursday about noon.
So now they can put their stuff back where it goes
and leave it there............shew...finally!!  lol

#9
that there porch furniture arrived on time and we have
been able to enjoy the glorious weather the last few
days out on the back porch.  Dee and I were sitting out
there,  but sitting on a cooler and a lil folding seat.  lol
So it is much more comfy now......Tues. it was
cool and breezy,Wed/ morning it was actually a lil
cold.  Which is great as far as I am concerned!!
So nice to have a break from our Florida heat!!

#10
that they have such nice neighbors...............

#11
that as sad as we were about their move to N.C.,
we are equally as glad now about being able to
have an adventure by visiting them, cause we get
to live a whole different lifestyle for a week.
Altho, truthfully we would be more than happy
if they moved back.

#12
that even tho we are sad our visit is about over,
and we will miss them, we can look forward to
going back to our own home and seeing the rest
of the family, especially our lil darling.......
The Lord is always good to give us some sweet
along with the bitter...............lol

  1. #1. I am so happy for you! My, how fast time does go!
#2. What a blessing from our LORD, for Jim to have such a wonderful job and colleagues! It would be hard to find a job like this elsewhere!
#3. Togetherness is where it counts! I would really need to leave my wallet home, ha!
#4. I bet the house was a million $ or more!
#5. Amen! The osprey fledgling I rescued yesterday is a fine example of GOD's beauty! The wildlife refuge said he is doing well! They will care for him until he's ready to fly then bring him back here and let me see them release him!
    #6. Oh, yes...see #5!
#7. I can understand as you do! Anyone who has had to deal with water damage knows!
#8. It's great when they're done and gone!
#9. That's why I like my a/c, ha! But, I have always liked rainy weather. I guess it's because I'm an inside person!
#10. That's the greatest blessing we all can have. Praise the LORD, we (on my culdesac) have all been here for the 30 years! (25 yrs for 1)
#11. Oh, yes! Their moving back would be the greatest blessing! Then all the families would be together again!
#12. "Home is where the heart is!"
I don't know who said that, but, "there's no place like home!" As Dorothy said in the Oz movie!
Be seeing you soon! Love you all, Susan
