Thankful Thursday - June 18, 2015, more Spring/summer vignettes from the living room

You have made known to me the path of life;
you will fill me with joy in your presence,
with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Psalm 16:11 NIV

Greetings Sweet Friends,

Hope you have been having a good
week and that it hasn't been too hot
where ever you are, cause it has
been hotter than blue blazes here.

My favorite.....NOT!!!  lol

Well, I am running so late, as it
has been a busy week having too
much fun, I am just gonna start
right in....figured I would throw in
 a couple more spring/ summer
 living room vignettes for you
to see............

So here we go..............

I am thankful

#1
for a really good old movie from 1998
that was based on a true story,  it is
called "Patch Adam's".
Robyn Williams played Patch, and did
a wonderful job. It was over all a pretty
clean movie, just a few words and the
last scene, but it was sort of apprepo!
Sort of made me sad tho to think of
how much laughter Robyn Wms.
brought to other for him to end his
own life so tragically.

#2
for fresh beets right from my son's
garden.  Made them for dinner on
Monday night and I have never had
fresh beets, and I boiled them and
they were really good...........
spoils you I have to say!!

#3
for progress and more hopeful progress on an
Ins. situation left over from my SIL Susan's
broken hip situation last October. Hopefully
it will be resolved soon!!

#4

that our wind mitigation test turned
out real well, and he said we should
definitely get some discounts for it.
Whoo  Hoo!!

#5

that I got an email from the Heaven is for
Real Ministry team, and they have another
book out,  and it is  called "Heaven makes
 a difference"
So got it for hubby for Father's Day cause
we loved the first one and really enjoyed
 reading it together.

#6
for Publix Brand "Butter Pecan" frozen yogurt,
it has been my late night snack lately...........and
very delicious too I might add.

#7

for leftovers from Tuesday nights dinner,
Ziti and Sauce with those seasoned chicken
patties I have told yall about before.  I made
baked Ziti out of it and just cut the chicken
patties we had left, up in chunks and added it
in the pasta, then added some mozarella and
parmasan cheese to the top, and it made quite
a tasty dish for Wed. night

#8
for some cute ideas for hubby and son's
Father's Day table, and had most every-
thing just bought a few small inexpensive
items.......

#9

that I have all my Father's Day shopping finished,
and found every thing I was looking for in record
time, and it is all wrapped and ready. course,
mostly I use gift bags........I know the person
who invented those must have been a tired
single MOM, who desperately needed some
 HELP!!  lol

#10

for a lovely dinner at some young friends house
Thurs.evening.  They have been in their new house
almost a year and we still hadn't seen it. We had
a great time,  lovely dinner, lovely time and lovely
new home...........she has done a super job with it.

With posterized affect

#11

for a chocolate Elvis from Planet Smoothie today.
Got one on the way home from shopping and it
really cooled me off, cause it was a
100 degrees out there.........Yuk!

#12

for a nice compliment from another lady shopper
about my hair. That always makes one feel good!!
