Coastal inspired Coffee table - Repost from Summer 2012

Happy Tuesday
Sweet Friends,

Hope you all had a really lovely
 weekend and Monday!!

Ours was lovely, quiet and
relaxing....just the 2 of us...
Watched a really good movie
called "Me Again", we down
loaded it from Netflix, and it
was sort of a modern day
 version of
 "It's a wonderful life".
We highly recommend it!

Well, my computer is working
now, but for some reason it will
not connect to the internet, so
hubby had to order an Ethernet
connection (whatever that is), so
hopefully it will be here by
tomorrow, and that will get me
up and running again, and
hopefully the Ether want put
it back to sleep!!   lol

So needed to do a repost again,
 this time from the summer
of 2012, of my Coastal Inspired
Coffee and Side Table in the
 family room.

I am in the process of redoing a few
things in our bedroom to give it a bit
of a Coastal look, for a nice change,
so hopefully I will get to show you
that before too long..............lol

Blue tea tray and blue and white stripe kitchen towel

 Shells in a bird nest

Love this starfish,  I have had him for ages.

NIce coastal find Target a few years back,
  thought he was so cute!

Lantern was a find from Target a few years ago
too, and was on sale .............always great
to find things on sale...........

Really Love the look when the candle is lit!

An overview,  and just added some raffia to add a lil spice.
Sorry this is a bit blurry,  but didn't have time to do a retake.

These next pictures are of a lil side table beside the sofa!

Here is another find this time from Cracker Barrel, had seen
him many times while we were away on vacation, and loved
him from the start, but didn't want to pay $21.00 for him.
Once we came back from vacation that year (2012) I found
him at our Cracker Barrel for $10.00,  so decided to bring
him home.....................lol

Put him on the chair with a pillow behind so you could
see him better, cause he doesn't show up as well in the
other pictures..................Isn't he cute!!

This was my fist vignette but decided to change it
just a little......................

Changed it to this.....thought Mr. Sea Bird looked better
on the other side................he doesn't look like a seagull
or sandpiper to me,  so not sure what he is,
If you know please tell me!! lol

Had the clam and conch looking shell from a few
years back for a table I did for my daughter for her
birthday, the beads I have had for ages,  and the
candle was a gift.

Just in case you are wondering what the scent was
 and the fragrance is lovely.

Same pic as above just posterized

Mr. Sea bird says,
Hope you have a Peachy
Beachy Summer day!!

Thanks for stoppin in,
always great to hear from you!

Big Hugs and
Welcome to August Blessings,

Nellie

  4. Hello dear Nellie. I adore your coastal touches and that candle is one of my own personal favourites! I love a good change-up around the house. It's nearly as good as a holiday. It's almost Spring here where I live, so I'm airing all of our Summer bedding and dragging out the salad recipes. I love Winter, but I don't love the crocodile skin I get from being in artificial heating all day! I always love visiting you and especially like checking that I'm still not a robot...lol! Have a beautiful week my friend. Love Mimi xxx
