Winter Coffee Table

Happy Tuesday Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds your week going well,
so far!

I am doing well in most ways, but....
still having some back issues, but as long
as I don't sit a lot I am fine...........lol
I was hoping to spend quite a bit of time
on the computer this week doing cards and
preparing some posts, since the house is in
good shape, and all I need to do is some
 laundry, but so much for that.  lol

Our house guest left yesterday morning so
we have the house all back to ourselves. It
is lil strange having people in the house
 when it has just been the 2 of you for
so long................unless it is your kids,
of course..................
but not necessarily a bad thing either!
We are such creatures of habit we need
a lil shake up every now and again.  lol

Thought I would show you our family
room coffee table today............

Gonna just get on with that... so I can
 get up and move around.  Guess I will
be doing some cooking today since
 standing up seems to be the better
 thing to do !!  lol

Remember you can click on any pic to en-
large them all, for better viewing pleasure.

Have been enjoying the burlap table
 runner since the Fall, so decided to
keep it in place.........then decided to
use my pretty white Rooster
"Beaureguard"
as I think he makes a nice
presence on the coffee table.

Always like to use lots of candles
 especially in the Fall and Winter when
 we can burn them the most, as Spring
and Summer it is usually way too hot,
here in Florida.  This is one of my
favorite candleholders as well.

Just stuck a gold painted pine
cone in this lil terra cotta pot,
since pine cones seem Wintery.

 With paint daubs affect

Books are always good for giving
a little height when needed and also
 added a lil color here...........since I
 guess you have noticed by now if
you have seen my other recent posts
 that I am using a neutral palette in
my family room this time.

I ran across this key so added it to
 the book for a lil extra bling I guess
you would say..............

With posterized affect

From the opposite end of the room.

See the brown garden stool over by
 the big chair......well, I am Still
trying to decide if I want to paint
it a cream color or not!
That was the plan when I bought it.

So what do you think???

Lil darling loves to take the stuff
off the top and use it as a drum...
Her Daddy showed her that when
 we first got it....and I hadn't put
 anything on top of it yet.......lol
But she very carefully removes
everything and then is really
good about putting it all back
where it goes afterwards, and
she does a lil flower arranging
in the process...........lol

Don't remember if I showed you
this pretty throw I got when I was
up in Asheville in the Fall.  The
other side of the throw is the same
color as the pillow you see here.

Hubby and I Love it, and so does
lil darling.....she likes to cover
up with it when we are reading
in this chair.

Have to say we are really enjoying
 this new neutral colored room
 very much.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
So happy you could come by
 today and hope you enjoyed
yourself.........and that you
come again soon.
Keep your light shining
brightly.............
Love, Hugs and
2nd Day of February Blessings,
Nellie
  1. Hi Nellie! Your place is cozy indeed. Thank you for the coffee table inspiration. I can't seem to come up with a vignette for my table that I really like. What I do really like is the throw you have on your chair, it looks very comfy and soft.
  6. Thanks Jennifer,
    I actually got it at Walmart last Spring I think it was. It was a regular long
    table runner, but in the Fall I decided to cut it and use it in several different
    places.....
    It was only $7.00.........
    Hope you have a lovely week,
    Blessings, Nellie
    Thanks for hosting
