We are going to do a "summer recap" of all the highlights from the past couple months!Jenniferhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02922994263280650480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7511667191387080514.post-62320979226084443252010-08-31T16:06:00.369-04:002010-08-31T16:06:00.369-04:00I have to admit that movie sounds like a really go...I have to admit that movie sounds like a really good one - but I don't think I could get through it. Those type of graphic things..especially cruelty and/or torture just make me literally ill. I know my husband would like it, though. Was it a DVD you picked up at the store?

Hope that your tummy is feeling better today. You certainly have had your plate full - and it is times like these that satan does his best attacking. So glad you can recogonize it for what it is. Be easy on yourself - and keep smiling!

Praying for you this week! I hope you are feeling better about your dental issue. I have a feeling it is going to be fine soon. Sorry the ABs are making you sick, they do the same to me.

I know things will work out for Jimmy soon. 16 weeks is a long time. So happy Scott got the job he wanted.

I wish I could write more but I have to run and get dressed as my brother is coming over and I have been very lazy this morning so far.

Love you...take good care of yourself!

AB XOXOBonniehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14059667593315041564noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7511667191387080514.post-40578142146056021522010-08-31T08:46:18.703-04:002010-08-31T08:46:18.703-04:00Hi Nellie,
So sorry about that disappointment, but...Hi Nellie,
So sorry about that disappointment, but we will keep petitioning our Faithful LORD on your behalf and believing that He WILL open the right door soon.
Thanks for your endorsement of the movie. I purchased it at Office Depot almost 2 years ago but have been hesitant to watch it.
I pray that you feel better soon and have a great week!
((HUGS))Jesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13742425014656556927noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7511667191387080514.post-63871447657822592802010-08-30T21:05:59.349-04:002010-08-30T21:05:59.349-04:00Oh, Nellie, I am so sorry that the job didn't ...Oh, Nellie, I am so sorry that the job didn't work out. Yes, I know you want God's will and were asking him to close doors if it wasn't his will, but we know from experience that it is still disappointing. I told you Gary was out of work from June 2003 to July 2005 (25 months to the day), and were it not for our faith, we would never have survived that. As Christians, we knew (as you and Jim know) that God kept the door closed because he has something else (better) planned. If we were not believers in God's sovereignty, though, we would have felt SO rejected. So, I remind you and Jim, that Jim was not rejected by that employer. For whatever reason God has a different plan. I'll keep praying for a job for him.

I, too, have a great deal of respect for John McCain, though I've not seen that movie. I have respect for ALL who serve our country in the military, but to endure many years of captivity at the hands of an evil captor gives me an even greater appreciation for his amazing character.

On that note, there is a young man (age 19, I think) who is from right here in Idaho. His name is Bowe Bergdahl, and he is the lone POW in the Afghan war. As a mother of an 18 year old son, this hits close to home, and given that he's a local boy, our news tries to keep his story before us regularly.

Well, this comment, as always, has gotten rather lengthy.

Much love,
PattiPatti https://www.blogger.com/profile/12931836399684850729noreply@blogger.com
