I am pretty caught up around my house so I thought this chilly, gray day would be perfect for some blog reading.

I have always been a reader. My husband is too, and both kids. I put off getting a Kindle for a long time and now I have it on my iPad as well. I swore that I loved the feeling of a book in my hand. I get such a thrill out of going to a book store and coming out with a bag of new books and magazines. But, it is so much easier reading them on the tablets. My hand doesn't cramp, with the iPad I can read in a dark room and I can buy a book without having to leave town to get to a bookstore. I still buy "real" books sometimes, but I do give in to my Kindle most often.Suehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03190096917851087676noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7511667191387080514.post-50688394315634191792013-10-19T16:18:57.087-04:002013-10-19T16:18:57.087-04:00Your berries are so pretty Nellie! I am so happy ...Your berries are so pretty Nellie! I am so happy you have Skype...what a blessing! Our daughter, while staying with us, washed one of her hubbies shirts with a black pen in it. What a mess, but it is always a learning experience...once it happens, you check those pockets!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend!
Blessings,
CindyCindy @ Dwellings-The Heart of Your Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02897883854642097143noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7511667191387080514.post-75120698641889279692013-10-19T10:27:07.132-04:002013-10-19T10:27:07.132-04:00I can't believe your Grand daughter is already...I can't believe your Grand daughter is already crawling. There are so many beautiful plants the LORD has created. My mums I bought 2 weeks ago are just about gone! I love how they have the bright shiny colors of pink, orange, and green!
#3. Just wait until you go in and find her standing, ha!
#4. I was wondering how Rosie was doing in her new home. I guess it helps her with DeeAnna being there most of the day.
#5. It appears they are getting ready for winter to come. I have seen them everywhere I go scampering around!
#6. Sounds delicious!!
#7. Oooh! I love spinach! I would like just the cheeses and spinach!
#8. You should have copied it and saved the pattern to use on cards, etc.
#9. I have some cracking in the cement. I think it might be from more settling of the house. My driveway has cracks and uneven parts coming in it now.
#10. I've noticed the beautiful dark pink sunrise clouds early in the morning when I open the blinds to the birds room.
#11. I remember when I used to hang our clothes on the clothesline when we lived in the Keys! Kind of brings back old memories now that I am hanging them up in the washroom, ha!
#12. Makes me think about those in third world countries that have never had the "need" to read and can't if they wanted to. Today, having 2 hour movies that take the place of five days of reading has definitely made a change of interest to many in today's society. I think that's why it is so hard to get kids to read. I remember as a kid; I'd rather get the Classic Comic Books of the major readings we had to do. It had the same info, but in shorter form AND with color pictures! Soon the libraries will being going out of business because of being able to download books from the internet on IPADs! I watched the DVD movie about Josh McDowell last night. We just don't realize what people have gone through in their lives.
Love to you all, Susan

sistersusiesayshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07753668561920609089noreply@blogger.com
