Happy St. Patrick's Day
Sweet Friends
Have a Lovely Day,

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”
Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV
Morning Sweet Friends,
Hope this finds you well and enjoying late Winter..... knowing Spring is just 5 days away. It has seemed like Spring has already Sprung here, since it has been in the 80's already. Hope you are having a good week, mine has been fairly good, I have just been really tired the last few days, think it is from all the activity we have had since we got back from our trip. So yesterday I pretty much did nothing, but I did spend some time talking with our girl, which is always good for me.
Pictures today are of our "Ode to leaves and trees Spring birthday table" for 3 family members. Since our house was still done in green, white silver and gold for winter. It seemed sticking to green and white would work best. When I found these napkins, I wasn't that thrilled with them really, but they were the prettiest ones I could find, so felt like I was sort of settling, but once I got them home and started working with them, they became a very happy surprise after all.
This could also make a lovely St. Patricks day table with just a few tweaks.
So on with my Thankfuls................
Thankful for a nice evening out to dinner for Hubbies birthday at Carrabbas, Just the 2 of us. Family celebration on Saturday.
#2
Thankful for a fun time making Banana Pudding for our birthday celebration on Saturday with lil darling. She worked right along side me, and did a great job, and it took all our restraint not to dig in, cause it did smell so good!!

Greetings Sweet Friends,
How are you today?? Hope you have had a good week. It has been a bit busier than normal as we are gearing up for 3 birthdays as you will read, but it has been a good week, and a fun week preparing.
Pictures today are of Pretty birthday cakes in honor of Birthday week at Cozy Place. Hubby and his sister and lil darling all within one week. Well, 8 days this year because of leap year. lol I would like a slice of all of them....
On with my Thankfuls................
#1
Thankful we got to see lil darling after our time away. Had a good school day, and then we all went to dinner, so that was fun. Sort of a pre-birthday celebration.
#2
Thankful that I was able to find some napkins while away, that spurred a plan for the birthday table.
#3
Thankful that all gifts are wrapped accept one that hasn't arrived yet. It arrived but it was damaged so had to send it back. Nice that Amazon automatically reordered it for us.
#4
Thankful that we are getting to spend lil darlings birthday with her. She is 11 yrs.old today, and today is a school day, so we tried to make it a fun morning. We gave her all but 2 of her gifts (from us and her Aunt Dee), so that she would have something to open this coming Saturday with everyone else. She loved everything and everything fit, which was great. We also got breakfast sandwiches from Duncan Donut (which she loves) and got her a fun-fetti cake, (one of her favs.) So she is a happy girl, and is now working on her school work which isn't too bad since we tried to get a lot done on Friday. So should be a shorter day than normal. She has been birth daying since Friday. So it's been a good birthday, for sure, and she still has Sat. to go...........lol
We are all about dragging birthdays out as much as possible around here!
Thankful that I finally have decided what to make them for their birthday dinner. It was sort of a hard decision cause they don't all like the same things. Dessert was easy as they all love Banana Pudding.
#6
Thankful that a dental appt. I was supposed to have this week got moved to April due to my Insurance info wasn't back yet. Have to say I was happy about that since hubbies birthday is on Thursday, we home school on Friday and then the other festivities are on Saturday.
So gave me a lil breathing room!!
#7
Thankful that we were able to enjoy sitting out on our porch this morning. Enjoyed hearing the birds singing! The sounds of Spring......
#8
Thankful for a really sweet story I read in the Epoch times about a couple who sang their way thru the labor and delivery of their 2nd child, a baby boy. They are both singers, and they truly value God, children and babies. Wish I could have found a way to share it with you.
#9
Thankful for a sweet text from one of our Pastors wanting to know if we were okay, cause he had missed us, the past 2 weeks.
Always nice to know you are missed.....
#10
Thankful we were able to get my hubby a Dr. appt. for Monday of next week,as he has a cyst that is weeping, and needs to get that taken care of. Sometimes these days it takes a long time to get appointments, and this is a new Dr. as well.
#11
Thankful for my Wonderful Hubby of over 53 years. Today is his 76th birthday, so looking forward to the day, and the family celebration on Saturday for all 3 birthdays.

Thankful our tree is not dying. Looked out the window this morning and our Oak trees have been shedding for awhile now, and when I saw some lower limbs they were so bare I thought our tree was dying, so went out on the porch to have another look and altho they did look dead, I looked up to the top of the tree only to see lots Spring green new growth.
So was very happy about that!!

Thankful for a fun day out shopping
at the outlet mall. Only our 2nd time
to go there and had some birthday
shopping to do for lil darling. As
we are coming up on birthday row.
My Sister-in-law Susan, Lil darling
and then hubbies birthdays. So we are
pretty much ready gift and card wise.
So just need to plan a dinner for
them all for next week. So fun
to be able to shop with our Daughter
as she always has great ideas, for
things lil darling would like, cause
sometimes Grammy is too practical. lol
#8
Thankful for finding a cool candy shop there called
"River street sweets".
The aroma coming out of there
was heavenly, and then there was
a guy passing out samples. Well,
that was all it took, so had to go
in and get some and it not only
smelled heavenly it tasted
heavenly as well.
Ohmmmmmmmmm

Thankful for an especially great gift from the Lord. I have always wanted some Bunny napkin rings but just could not bring myself to spend $5.oo each for them, which would equal $40.
Found 8 of them half price for.....

Love them, they are solid white. So cute!
Stay tuned for our Easter Table.....
in a few weeks.
I always say Good Things come to those who wait!!
