may they be happy and joyful.
Psalm 68:3 NIV
Hello Sweet Friends,
Can't believe I am on time today
for a change. lol
Hope this finds you all well and enjoying
the Fall Season. Been busy this week
making Thanksgiving cards, which
has been fun. Tomorrow is our Son's
birthday so we are going out to
dinner and then he and lil darling
will go to karate class, if she is
feeling up to it. She has an ear
infection but is on meds since
Tues. so unless she is really tired
from the meds, she will probably
Pictures today are from a past Thanksgiving
Table. Figured since it is coming up soon,
someone might be looking for ideas,
as I know I am starting to look......lol
Thankful for a great movie we watched on Friday
evening called "Selfie Dad", it was funny but had
a great message. We found it on Up TV faith
and family movies. Very heart warming too.
Thankful for all those bakery items we
found at Fresh market last Thursday.
Their bakery items are soooooo good.
Course, has not been soooooo good
for my scales..........yikes.
Thankful that I got Appreciation cards done
for all our Pastors. We have 6, and they
are all great men of God, and such great
role models, and are well loved by the
members of our church.
Thankful that my Son and Granddaughter
got to my Daughter and Son-in-loves and
back all in one piece. Love that they all
get together and had a great time
Thankful we got all our bushes in the front
of the house all trimmed and cleaned up
on Monday. It was below 60 when we
started, at 8:30, and it was so nice to work
out their in this lovely weather.
Thankful that our sweet neighbor (who
brings us the veggie soup) came over and
we all talked while we were out in the
yard and then we had her in for coffee
and we yakked until almost 3:00 P.M.
It was a marathon, but we haven't had
a chance to talk in a while, so it was
an unexpected pleasure and blessing.
#7 and 8
Thankful that since Office Depot cancelled
the order on my computer chair I ordered,
that my brilliant Daughter found me a
really nice one from a private owner in
Charleston for $50. which saved us over
$150. It wasn't exactly like the one I had
chosen, but it was the right shade of
blue and was perfect for what I needed.
and Thankful my Son happened to be
going up just at the right time in order
to bring it back to me. So sitting in
it now as I write.........lol
Thankful that my friend (who broke
both legs earlier in the year) and her
hubby are on a trip together right now.
She is doing so much better, but still
in therapy, but she has been a trooper.
Praying that have an awesome time.
Thankful that my Sister-in-law Susan
was able to get the okay to go back to
driving this week.
Thankful to get some Thanksgiving
cards made this week and put into
Thankful to hear about the Governor
and Lt. Governor winners in Virginia.
People with values again. PTL
Just now heard they won back the
house of delegates for their state
as well. Hoping to hear the NJ
Governor will be one of them too.
Think most people are just fed up
with all the craziness.
These pumpkins are super easy to do.
Take a large napkin set a roll of bathroom
tissue inside and then just losely pull
it up and push it inside the roll and
add a stick or whatever you want in
the top as a stem. Easy Peasy!
Well, that's it for Cozy Place this week.
Have a delightful rest of the week.
Love, Hugs, and
Early November Blessings,
