Christmas Season Greetings,
Sweet Friends,
Hello, hope you are having fun with your
Christmas plans and doings! We have been
decorating most of the week, and not
quite finished yet......but getting there, and
enjoying every minute of it.............Also, started
workingon some Christmas cards today too.
Pictures today are of our
Thanksgiving table for 2024.
#1
Thankful for a lovely Thanksgiving with our Son,
lil darling and my SIL Susan. Great food, great company and a lot of " PIT"
playing and laughter. If you've never played
pit before, it's a really fun game, and you
need to have at least 4 people.
#2
Thankful that we were able to get all our Fall decorations taken down, and put away as well. Shew!
I am a whipped.....but glad it is all done.
#3
Thankful for Thanksgiving leftovers, so I
didn't have to cook tonight or get take out.
#4
Thankful that all the dishes and leftovers
from Thanksgiving are done, and things
are put back where they belong.
#5
Thankful that we have all the Christmas
decor in the house, so we can start our
Christmas decorating. Got started in on
Monday but not quite finished yet.
Hopefully by tomorrow..........
#6
Thankful that we heard back from quite
a number of folks we e-mailed Thanksgiving
flip cards to.....some we don't hear from often,
so that was fun.
#7
Thankful for our head elder as he did
the sermon this Sunday. It was on our
identity in Christ and it was really powerful.
He will follow up with more the next 2
weeks, so looking forward to it.
#8
Thankful for the idea the Lord gave me
to do something to help cheer our neighbor
up, since she is missing her daughter who
she hasn't seen in probably 6 or 7 mos.
cause she moved away.
#9
Thankful for something cute we saw on the
way to church that just made us laugh.
It was a small Egret bird, usually seen around the beach or water.
Anyway, he was walking across the street, in
the crosswalk, and got half way across and
stopped as we were turning, so he waited.
and hubby looked in his rearview mirror and
he just marched on across the street.
It was like he knew exactly what he was
doing!! lol So stinking cute!
#10
Thankful our Christmas tree is all decorated
thanks to lil darling, She put all the
ornaments on, hubby did the topper and
we all draped it with beads. It looks
so pretty, and she was thrilled, and
so were we. !!
Here's a lil look............
#11
Thankful that hubby got the outside lights
up on the house, and our manger scene up.
Still has to put a few spiral trees up
tomorrow, that we decided to add this year
It's all looking great!! Hubby is such
a blessing as he is always so helpful.
#12
Thankful we know Jesus and that He is
definitely the Reason for the Season.
If it weren't for Him there would be
no such thing as Christmas!!
and how sad would that be...........
even sadder, no eternal life either!
