Hello Sweet Friends,
Hope this finds you well
and Cozy Warm. We are
experiencing Winter days
here in Florida, this time
it will last a week, So we
can enjoy that knowing we
will get a break soon.
Know some of you might not
be that blessed, and are
praying for Spring. I don't
blame you, if I lived up north
those would be my prayers
as well.

On with my Thankfuls#1
Thankful for a new read thru the Bible book, that our previous
Pastor gave to anyone who wanted them as a departing gift.
We were already reading
another one, at the time we
rec'd it, so wanted to finish
that one, so started the new
one later than everyone else
but we are really enjoying it.

Thankful for what they call
a Tens unit, that puts off
electrical impluse's that cause
the pain to go away temporarily
and helps with healing of my sciatica and back. Have been
using it quite a bit as it
Works pretty well.

thankful for a new probiotic
I started taking which seems
to be helping my IBS issues.
course, this is just one thing
among many many things that
we have tried.
Who knows, this could be the
one that works..... for good.
Everything seems to work
at first, and it works until
well.......it doesn't.

thankful that while I was
ordering something else on
Amazon, these curtains that I
had ordered back in Oct. for
our Anniversary, that were
out of stock, all of a sudden
popped up, so I reordered
them and they were even less
than before, which is always great. so got them last week,
and we put them on both
windows, and we like them,
but still need to steam and adjust them tomorrow, as I had to
stop for the day. they are
the same color, but a nice
change.....to buffalo Check
So excited to see finished
product .
Note: Didn't get to finish
cause we decided to go out
instead, needed a house break.

Thankful for this neat heating
pad that we have that I had
completely forgotten about,
Happened to find it, so got
it out and used it, and it was
perfect. Fits on my shoulders
like a cape and goes up around
my neck. Feels like heaven!! lol

Thankful I am getting the bug
to get The Christmas things
down and start looking more
like Winter in here. took a
few things down today. lol

Thankful that I have moved
2 Chiro visits till next week,
since my back and sciatica
are doing much better.
Hopefully my IBS will be
more under control then too.

Thankful for the Presidential
Pray team that sends out a
list of things to be prayed
for daily for our country.
It is a reminder everyday,
and makes it easy and quick
to pray! It is usually one of
the first things I try to do
every morning.
It is so important for us to
be praying for our country
and our government and
our President and his
Administration, like them or
not....it is our duty to our
country, and a biblical call
in 1 Timothy 2:1-2.

in our country and world and

Thankful for throws, warm
cozy blankets and flannel
pajamas, as we got some
more cold weather here
in Florida. Love it....

house today, even if it was
just to run errands.
Got what we needed,
and then....

Thankful for a nice din din
at Olive Garden cause they
have soup, and it is cold out,
so it was a lovely way to
end our time out.

So how are you liking the New Year so far???
Better than me I hope. As my back situation seems to be getting
better I have a new fun situation that I have had my whole life,
but as I have gotten older it has just gotten worse, and had been
fine for 2 months during my
back situation, (which I am extremely grateful for) but
it has now decided to rear it's ugly head once again!

of anything else to do.........lol

Thankful for 2 longggg phone calls with a long time best
friend and then my Daughter, well, my girl cup is full
for this week. lol

Thankful for President Trump
and that he had our military capture that horrible dictator
and his wife from Venezuela.
Yay for Freedom for the
Venezuelan people!!

Thankful for a frozen pizza.
Neither of us are feeling
good, colds or a virus, so
what we had planned didn't
sound good, so this pizza did
the trick. YAY

Thankful once again that our church live streams our church
service. Our New Lead Pastor
had lots of changes to tell us
about today, so was so happy
we didn't have to miss that.

Thankful for random conversations with strangers
that teach us things we did'nt
know before. When I was
getting my last massage a
few weeks ago, I was talking
to the lady who was born in
Cuba, and she came to the U.S.
when she was 24 yrs. old, and
is now probably in her 50's.
She said until she came here
she never knew of Thanksgving,
Christmas, Halloween, Easter
or any holidays for that matter.
I was flabbergasted.....I had never
heard that before or even
thought about it, but that is
what it is like to live in these
Socialist and communist countries. I have thought
about that conversation many
times since, what that must
have been like for her when
she came to live here in the
United States. Culture Shock
for sure, but in a good way.

Thankful for a new neighbor
that we aquired in 2025,
She is from Equador and
just the sweetest gal, she
and her hubby both, and they
are about our kids ages.
We were supposed to get
together with them after
New Years, so text her to let
her know we were sick, and
that when we were better
we still wanted to get together
with them, so last night she
brought us some chicken soup
and some Greek Lasagna,
calle Moussaka (I think it is)
Will be trying it today, as we
had already eaten last night.
Thought that was just so
sweet and thoughtful of her.

Thankful for a lil book on
our coffee table called
"God Winks" Christmas stories.
we have read it before but
have been rereading the
stories and it's such an
encouraging book about
what we would call coincidences.

Thankful that we read in the
God winks book, that they
actually have God Wink
Christmas movies, so we found
them on Amazon, and watched
one, and we loved it. True
stories, and we will probably
watch them all.

Thankful I finally got started
on doing a clean out on lil
darling cubicles I have in our
bedroom. We haven't used
much out of there in a few
years now, so decided it is time,
A lil bit sad, as I remember all
the fun we used to have with
those toys, but she is growing
up, so time to let go of that.
Probably a few years late
already.....lol
and I am gonna save some of
her favorite toys in my hope
chest, just in case she might
want them for her kiddos
one day!!

Thankful for all the sweet
memories it brought back,
and thankful for all the
new memories we have and
will continue to have with her.

Thankful and hopeful for
what I am believeing to be
another good sign of my
back healing. Haven't had
any sciatica for about a week,
but all of a sudden started
getting this mild tingling
sensation in the front of
my bad leg all of a sudden,
Felt maybe it was the last
wave of goodbye to this nerve
situation. Looked on line and
they did say that is a possibility
and that I should do what I
have been doing all along but
that I have been doing less of
as I have gotten better.
So interesting and hope we
are right!!!

Thankful to know I am in the
Lord's hand, and even when I
don't know what is going on,
He does........but have to confess
it is hard to remember that
at times.
Note: Amazing how when we
feel discouraged the Lord can change things in just a day.

Happy New Year 2026
Sweet Friends,
Hope you have had a wonderful
time over the Christmas holidays.
We sure did, but it's been pretty
quiet since Sunday, but it was good
as I needed the rest. We had a
quiet New years eve as well.
So here's to wishing you all a truly
Wonderful and Meaning New Year
2026. Hard to believe we got here
so quickly...............

Thankful our kids got in safe and sound
on Christmas eve, and back home safely
the following Sunday.
Thankful our whole family just had
the Best Christmas being together !!

Thankful for all the help my family was
with preparing food for Christmas and
Christmas Eve, and all the fun we had
doing it together. I had 5 kitchen assts.
who did choppping of all the ingredients,
meat, veggies and fruit, it was wonderful
and made for easy cooking! and we
actually made a few extra things we
haven't made in years.

Thankful for sweet and special moments
and the joy that being together brings to
each of us. Thankful for sweet and
thoughtful gifts as well.

Thankful that we got to have 4 full
days together, it is typically only 2,
so what a blessing.

Thankful for the fun of catching up with
each other, eating yummy food and goodies,
playing games and watching dry bar comedy.

Thankful for how loved my whole family
made me feel by doing things for me, and
helping me and taking such good care of me.
They really are the best!

Thankful our Daughter and Son-in-love
got home safely. Took about an hour longer
than normal cause of some accidents, but
it was shorter than we anticipated it would
be, before we prayed.

Thankful for resting on Sunday and
Monday. Feeling more rested today.
Monday, and tomorrow it is back
to the chiropractor, but think I will
be having less visits now, cause I am
feeling more back to myself daily.
YAY
Note: Don't go back for 2 weeks,
and if that goes well it will be monthly.

Thankful that I went back to chiropractor
today, as we flipped our mattress when
the kids were here to help, but every since
then I am having trouble sleeping on my
back, so hoping tonight will be different
Also think we are now going to every 2
weeks, and see how that goes....
I was doing great until the mattress flip.
Ugh........but hoping it is just temporary.
Note: Took a few nites but better able to
sleep on my back now.......YAY

Thankful for a trip to Aldi's today cause
we love their sour dough bread, and every
time we seem to find more things that are
more cost effective, which is always nice.

Thankful for grilled Ham and cheese
sandwiches for breakfast. Don't know
what made me think of it, but havent'
had one in a longgg time, but it was
cold out, so looking for warm foods,
and they were sooo good, and hubby
made them twice this week. Love that!!

Thankful for beautiful yet cold weather
out the last few days. It's been lovely
here it central Florida.
We are having Chili tonight!!

Thankful last, but defintely not least for that
tiny baby born in a stable/and a manger
In Bethlehem all those years ago, to take
on the Sins of the World, Mine and Yours,
so that we could know God and know our
Eternal destination because of HIM.
