Thankful Thursday January 5, 2023, Our Christmas tables 2022

So they sang praises with gladness and

 bowed down and worshiped.

2 Chronicles 29:30 NIV

New Year Greetings,

 Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds you all well and happy,

and going about life.....

I am happy, but not so well.....still fighting

whatever this is.......but think I might be

coming down to the finish line here soon,

so I can be going about life again,

at least that is my hope and prayer.

Pictures today are from our Christmas

Brunch and Dinner table.  It was a same

centerpiece and table switch r' roo.

The ones with the Merry Christmas plates

Were for brunch and we used paper goods,

and the dinner table we used normal plates

with red chargers.

As you go on you will see some of these pics

were pre-planning shots, cause I was so

tired never thought to take one of the

actual dinner table.  lol

Know these are late Christmas shots,

but nothing else to post.  lol

It is still Christmas in our house.   lol

So on with my Thankfuls......

#1

Thankful for some videos we have been watching on the book of Revelation (In the Bible).  Have already learned a few things and have only watched 6 videos and they are only like 15 mins., a few a lil longer.

Thankful we moved our futon to the porch until we can get rid of it, but now we think we might just keep it there as we have been sitting out there since the weather has been so nice.

Guess we will see??

#3

Thankful that our kids and lil darling got to see each other and have a great time again on Thursday in Savannah, and they all got back home safely again, as the traffic was still pretty heavy.

#4

Thankful for a full week of rest. Still not over whatever this is, but am looking forward to and doing everything I can think of to help me toward wellness, and know it will come sooner or later!!  lol

Update: Been 11 days now.

#5

Thankful for being able to walk on the treadmill some, as think it helps with my breathing and also that I kept a plastic breathing gadget that they gave my husband back when he had surgery almost 20 yrs. ago.  Have been using that as well, as my oximeter. I tend to be a shallow breather for some reason, so all these things are helpful. About to try Mucinex as a last ditch effort to get rid of this stuff.  lol

#6

Thankful for a number of long phone conversations with my lovely daughter.  We miss each other so much, so that always cheers us up!

#7

Thankful we got new cards put in our shop today. All the Christmas cards automatically disappeared, which is a nice feature, but needed to be replenished.

#8

Thankful for a long conversation with a long

time dear friend on Tuesday, and a sweet

text from my neighbor on Wednesday.

#9

Thankful for some much needed encourage-

ment for myself and my Daughter Wednesday.

It is so neat how the Lord can rally friends

to contact you, with some good news, or

prayers or information that you don't

expect, and it just changes the outlook

 of everything. Praise the Lord!!

#10

Thankful for a very easy but delicious

Broccoli soup recipe I found and made

today (Wed.)  It was so easy yet so good!

and felt great on my throat as well.

#11

Thankful that one of our students we have

known for years, when we used to be involved

in youth ministry contacted us, he is grown

and married with 3 children now, and he and

his family are going through some

really tough things.  We are so happy and

feel so honored that he contacted us so we

could be able to pray and support

them. They are just such a lovely family.

#12

Thankful that my Daughter and Son-in-love

just got their first booking on their new

investment, A Lake House.  So they are

beyond happy about that, and we are

happy for them, as well.

Here we all are a few nights before Christmas when we still remembered to take some pictures.  lol

Left to right, Our Son-in-love, Jerry, Our Son, Scott, Our Daughter, DeeAnna, Our lil darling, Brooklyn, My hubby, Jim and you guessed it,  lil o' me!!

Well, that's it for Cozy Place

this week.  This is the Christmas/New Year

Edition, I guess!!  lol

Thanks as always for coming by

for a visit.

Hope you have a great New Year

Love, Hugs,  and

 New Year 2023 Blessings,

Nellie

  4. Hello, Sim X,
Thank you for stopping by and for your kind comments about our table design. This was a very overtired Mama's, what can I do, Lord, table. So He gave me the idea to pull some things together from around the house and just make a cute table very quickly. You have no idea how grateful I was for that!! lol
Hope you stop in again and Hope you have a Joyful New year!
    Blessings, Nellie
