The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for Joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 28:7
Greetings Sweet Friends.
Oh My! Can you believe this is almost the last
day of February......Went by very quickly, but have
to say the last few weeks have seemed more like 2 months
than 2 weeks, with all that has been going on here with
my Sil Susan.

So....on with my Thankfuls
#1
Thankful that we had my Sister-in-law Susan
Evac'd to the hospital on Friday, altho the news
is not good news, as she is in ICU in serious
condition. She has Pneumonia, A-Fib, Edema,
and blood clots in her leg and lungs. It is shocking
to say the least......
#2
Thankful they have her heavily sedated because
they have to keep her still as they deal with all
the blood clots. This was just on Saturday.
Update as of now: Susan has been in good spirits and
they said she is getting better everyday which appears to be,
but she is now even weaker than before, after being in ICU
flat on her back for 5 days. The pneumonia and the blood clots are gone, ptl, but the Dr. said the real problem is her
heart and the A Fib, so she will be going to the Cardiac
unit today they think, and they said that A Fib can just
cause her to get more blood clots if they can't get that under
control. She also has some other issues that they have
under control with meds. This is way more serious
than we could have ever imagined, and we just feel so
bad for her.
#3 and 4
Thankful for a lovely evening with our Son
and lil darling..........She will be 13 yrs.old soon.
Can hardly believe it. She is a beauty in every way.
and really getting that Volleyball practice down
to a science. She did get hit in the face with the
Volleyball tonight, Thankful it just hurt
but didn't do any damage.
#5
Thankful that is was an easy dinner provided by
Outback..........and our Son picked it up on the
way here. Perfect.
#6
Thankful that I got the sweetest and most precious
call from the person I wrote a letter to a few weeks
back. They have been dealing with a death in the
family, so I imagine that is why it took awhile,
but seemed so touched by my letter. PTL.
Mission accomplished!
#7
Thankful that I finally gathered up many of lil
darlings favorite toys and books and finally got them
stored away in the cedar chest, so if one day she
would like to have them for her kids. We haven't
used them for a number of years so thought it was
time.........
#8
Thankful that not only does our church live stream
their services, but many other churches do as well.
Which is such a blessing all the time, but it has
really been a blessing during this season of testing
for me.
#9
Thankful for a fun and sweet surprise this morning
when I looked out the window into our back yard.
Both our brown bunnies were out, which is a very
rare event. We are having another cold snap and
it's 40 degrees right now, and they were out munching
on our Jasmine for breakfast. lol
I walked away for a few minutes and came back
and they had vanished again, no telling when
we will see them again.
#10
Thankful that I have been in an organizing and decluttering
mode, and was happy to see 3 boxes of giveaways go to
Good Will yesterday. Have started in a new spot as
of yesterday, and will see it through to completion soon
hopefully..........
#11
Thankful the Lord let me see a black cat that came in our
yard. I just happened to look out in our backyard
yesterday and there was the cat, and he was sitting under
lil darlings swing with his back to our house, but intently
looking into the woods, and I was wondering what he
was looking at, and then all of a sudden he got up and
started skulking towards the woods going around a tree
as if to hide himself, and then I realized oh my gosh,
that is close to the area where the bunnies were that morning,
so I quickly ran out and loudly clapped my hands
and scared him and he took off! I know our kitty
Molly we used to have, had gotten a few bunnies,
so think that is what he was up to...........

Thankful for Emt's, Drs., nurses, therapists and hospitals,
and all other medical personel that I didn't name. You are
