Yes! There is also His stipulations in doing so found in Matthew 7:7, "Ask and it will be given to you, SEEK AND YOU WILL FIND, knock and the door will be opened to you." Also the asking has to be in line with GOD's will in that what He answers will glorify Him. John 14:13 shares, "I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Father will be glorified in the Son." One of the LORD's promises to those in Christ is from Philippians 4:19, "My GOD will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus."
