Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you;
he is the Messiah, the Lord.
This will be a sign to you:
You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.”
Luke 2: 11-12
and
Happy Birthday Jesus!!
Hope you and yours have a truly
Beautiful Christmas wrapped in
the warmth of His Love, Peace,
and Joy.
Decided to combine this with my
Thankfuls.......
#1
Thankful that we got everything
accomplished that we needed to
do before our Daughter and hubby
arrived on Sunday evening. Which
was pretty amazing since we had
been exhausted and feeling under
the weather with a cold since last
Sunday.
#2
Thankful they arrived safely
with no problems.
#3
Thankful for a great time as we went
to our Sons house on Monday night.
We all enjoyed seeing the Christmas
decorations, visited, played mouse trap
with lil darling for awhile and looked
at some old pics he came across from
when he was a kid, such a fun blast
from the past, had a pizza party and
watched "Elf" together. A Fun evening!
#4
Thankful for an hour or so for me
and my Daughter to chat while the
guys were watching my hubbies
new fav thing he found on TV
"Battle bots".
#5
Thankful for these mini quiche
frozen bites we found at Sam's.
I have had them before but it
has been a longgggggg time, so
knew they were good and Dee
would like them, So we have
had them for breakfast along
with bacon, sausage and bagels
the last 2 morning. We all
really enjoyed these breakfasts.
#6
Thankful that we have been
taking naps most every after-
noon, think that has really
helped us with everything.
#7 and 8
Thankful that my Son-in-love
is doing well. Just 2 days
before they were to leave to
come here he had a bite on his
upper arm, and it made this
big circle pattern with like
a blistery rash in the center.
Thankful, that his Sister-in-law
is a Dr., and they were able to
send her pictures of it, and she
said it looks like a tick bite
and I guess the beginning of
lyme disease, so she was able
to call in prescription for anti-
biotics right away, so it has
been improving daily for the
last couple of days and he is
feeling fine. Think they caught
it early cause his arm was
sore and burny but he had no
fever or anything.
#9
Thankful for Christmas music,
it would just not be Christmas
if we weren't able to hear and
sing Christmas carols and
fun songs.
#10
Thankful that our kids will all
be with us for Christmas this year.
Such a blessing!
#11
Thankful that they will be back
Christmas morning until the 27th
when they have to head home. They
left on Tuesday afternoon to go visit
with his parents since they have
recently moved back to the area.
#12
Thankful for the fun of making
chocolate dipped pretzel rods for
the first time. We were gonna
do it together and then we for-
got about it, so just did them
myself.....it was easy really
and fun, but probably would be
more fun doing it together.
Maybe next year!!
#13
