Thankful Thursday June 3, 2021, Past Father's Day Table

and Welcome to June!

Can you believe we are already in June...

this year almost seems like a blur....

it has gone so fast.  Hope this finds

you having a good week, our's has

been good in some ways and not so

good in others...........lol

Since Father's Day is just around the corner, thought it might be nice to have pictures from a past Father's Day at our House. I get a kick out of coming up with creative ways to do a manly table... which is not always easy.  So this one was for our 2 handy men (Hubby and Son).

Thankful that Season 8 of "When calls the

Heart" is now available.  We've already

watched 8 episodes and it is has been

really good, as always. 

 Such a great series....

Thankful for Chick-fil-a and how good

there food is,  and also how efficient they

 are and how lovely all their employees

are ....so it is no wonder they are doing a

whopping business here in our area

all the time.

Thankful that we saw a baby bunny that I saw

 months ago 2 times and haven't seen it since.  

So Sat. just happened to look out the dining room

 window and lo and behold, there he or she was

 right at the edge of our woods.  Once again we

had seriously thought something happened to it.

He/she was quite a bit bigger than the last time

 I saw him! Lil darling will be so happy to hear

he's okay cause she is always watching for him

when she comes.... so praying he shows up for

her on Thursday.  Still wondering about the

older bunny Coco, maybe we will see him

again soon...........

Thankful for praying friends that love

and care about us.  We have been going

thru some gutwrenching things as of late

and we can literally feel those prayers.

This was a sign I hung above the table

Thankful for all of those service men

and women, and their families who gave 

their lives to keep us all safe and free.......

Thankful for a fun visit with our son and

Granddaughter on Memorial day. Played

some cards and she  finished doing some

 painting and stenciling on a birdhouse she 

and hubby built a few weeks back.

Thankful to have the opportunity to help

encourage and pray for a young lady who

is married and a Mom now and used to 

attend our church from the time she was

a toddler till her late teen years.

Thankful we are booking a beach house

for  our family next May to celebrate my

 70th birthday.  We are all so excited and

wish we didn't have to wait a year, but it 

will give us all something to look forward 

to........for sure.

Thankful that are back yard just seems to

 be alive with critters all at one time.

We have a new Robin family and babies

now, cardinals,  crows, lots of squirrels and 

our baby bunny has been back a lot lately 

too, and dragon flies as well.  We see them

all at times, but for some reason they

are all flitting about at the same time.

Reminds us of a scene out of a 

disney movie!!  lol

Thankful that our Pastor started

his long deserved Sabbatical on

June the 1st.  He has been with us

for 15 years,  so he is overdue.

Hope he has a good relaxing and

refreshing, and rejuvenating time

with his family.

Thankful that a young man who is

now close to 40, who grew up in our

church and has been ministering at

our church for years and is going to

school to become a Pastor is coming

on full-time as our youth Pastor

but will also be the one leading our

church in our Lead Pastors absence.

We believe the church will be in

very good hands.

Thankful for a good day with lil darling

as always....a trip to hobby lobby, and the

dollar tree, and a cute lil sign I found there,

 and some take out from Arbys and coming

home to watch another episode of When

calls the heart.....made for a fun Thursday.
