Thankful Thursday March 26, 2026, and spring in the dining room

He who sacrifices thank offerings honors me,

Happy Spring Sweet Friends,

 I know, I am a lil late but only by a week!!

and Spring last till the first day of Summer.

June 2l, 2026.  So guess it's really okay for 

it to be Happy Spring anytime between now

and them.........lol

This morning I realized with all that has been

going on....we hadn't open up the house to give it

 a nice airing out,  plus I just love to open our

 french doors to the porch, as it is like bringing

 the outdoors in......and you can hear the birds 

singing and see the squirrels running up and

down the trees, and it is just so delightful.....

so that got my day started off in a lovely way.

Pictures today are of Spring decorating in

the dining room this week.

            Don't know if you noticed (in the header

 picture) but I changed this up a lil cause 

I needed the taller bunnies somewhere else,

 which you will see later.....

So on with my Thankfuls....

Thankful that it was suggested to us  to get an

elder care attorney, and had 2 recommended from

 the rehab center, but didn't want to hire anyone 

we didn't know anything about,  so we have done

 a lil research and have it narrowed it down to 2, 

and both of them are are recommended by people 

we know.  So very Thankful to know what 

direction to go in now to get an appointment.

#2 and 3

Thankful that we got to have lil darling all day 

on Friday. Course, she was doing her school work

 as usual  but so good to see her.

We got to make some rolo candies together, and 

she helped me choose and label some clothing we

 needed to send for my SIL Susan at the rehab 

center and she loves to talk with her friends

and play games on the ipad.  So cute to listen

 to them as they give each other instructions 

as to what to do in the game.

"Put the flashlight on him or he want show up",  

stuff like that,  so funny!

Then after work our Son came and picked up 

take out from Tijuana flats,  so we got to have 

dinner together and just spend time talking and

 catching up. Always good to have time with our

 Son, as well.

Thankful for a what I thought was a really cool 

answer to prayer. There was paperwork that we

 needed from Susan's house but it was stuck in a

 file cabinet.  The drawer was stuck open at about

5" and we could not budge it either way, and we

 were wondering what it was gonna take to open it,

  because being a file cabinet it is of course, totally

encased in metal.  Yesterday hubby went to feed

 the cat, so decided to try again to get it open, and

 it just opened so easily like it had never been stuck,

 so he was able to get what he needed, and when

 he went to close it,  it went back to being stuck in

 the same place. I had been praying specifically about

 that .and how could we get it open.  Just love when

 you know it could have only been the Lord.

Thankful for all the messages Pastor Andrew

has preached this last month that have really 

ministered to me in my circumstances.

Thankful to hear that a sweet lady who is

a widow and was having back problems and

was having to walk with a walker as she 

was in so much pain and (that was before I 

had my back problems) so we started praying

for her every night, and hubby talked to her

 today and she is off the walker and doing 

well and in no pain!!  PTL

So happy to hear that.....

Thankful for faithful praying friends that 

are so sweet to check on us and of course,

we check on them as well.

Thankful for the beautiful sunny days we

have been having. As we sit outside to get our 

Vitamin D, it really lifts our Serotonin levels 

which also lifts our spirits.

Thankful for fresh Ginger Tea with Manuka honey.

It is my go to drink every morning now. It feels

good in my tummy and I think it is gradually

helping with bloating.  Only time will tell for sure.

Thankful that my Daughter's workmate/friend

is doing better.  She had a small surgery and

somehow she got sepsis and has been in the

hospital since Saturday.  Scary!

Note: She got of the hospital yesterday,

so that sounds like good news.

Thankful hubby read on google that they are

gonna have a 14th season of 

"When calls the heart",

but not until 2027, as tonight just finished

season 13.  We just love this series, it just

has the best story line and all the characters

are wonderful. Been watching it for years

now, never fails to be great as far as we

are concerned

Thankful for a dear longtime friend that

came to visit with me today.  Haven't seen

each other in quite awhile, and she came

armed with a special tea that helps her

tummy, hoping it will help mine, and

a beautiful spring bouquet.  She is such

a sweet heart and we had so much catch-

ing up to do,  so it was pure bliss.  lol

Thanks Becky, it was pure Joy.
