Welcome to  Thankful Thursday Sweet Friends...........

Hope you have had lots of reasons

to be thankful this week.  It's

been a good week here with lots

of sunshine and less rain.  lol

Pictures today are of our

Fall Kitchen.  Didn't decorate

quite as much in there.

So on with my Thankfuls

thankful to get to spend a lil

unexpected time with lil darling.

Thankful that hubby is having an opportunity to minister to a young man who recently lost his Dad and is having a very rough time of it.

Thankful for Sunshine, Vit D, Serotonin and breezes to enjoy it.  Still 90 degrees out there, but have had lots of rain this week, so needed that Sunshine, but can't take it for too long.........lol

Thankful that sweet potato pancakes came across my radar screen this morning, and altho I didn't think I had what I needed

 to make them, I remembered

I did have some pumpkin leftover

that needed to be used, and just

enough bisquick to make the batter so we made Pumpkin  pancakes instead,

and they were very good, with

good ole Mrs. Buttersworth

syrup and pecans.  Yum!

Just what I hoped for......lol

Thankful we have our Nov 3rd ballots in the mail already.

They notify us when they receive

them, or we can also call and

check as well.

This is a very important election, so be sure you vote any way 

that you can...

Honestly of course.  lol

Thankful we watched the K-Love Awards tonight,  we watched it around the first of the year 

and it was just so good, and so uplifting we decided to watch

 it again. Good decision!

Thankful that today was the one year anniversary of when I had the pinched nerve last year, and had to go to the chiropractors using a walker.  So happy I was

off the walker within a few

weeks, and my back has gotten

better and better, still not

perfect but so much better.

Now if my intestinal problems

will just track  with my back

that would be great, I will be 

able to go back to church.  We pray for that every night and

 we know the Lord is able, as he

has healed me of so many issues

emotionally and physically over

the years.

Thankful for a blog I think I have been following, for as long as I have been blogging, which is for about 17 +years now. It is called "On Sutton Place"

such a lovely blog, with lots of

Thankful that Our Daughter

and Son-in-love are celebrating

their 15th Anniversary this week,

and have taken a lil getaway trip

to celebrate.

Thankful I made a birthday

card for a friend today.

It's been awhile since I have

made many,  (cause I get 

engrossed and tend to sit

 too long, which is not great

for  my  back. Did one for the

kids Anniversary too, a few

weeks ago, but printed and

mailed it today, and will send

one of our flip-cards to

them on their day since they

will be away.

Thankful for the aroma of freshly mowed grass, and the

way the sunlight filters thru

 our back yard trees as the sun

is getting ready to set.  Delights!

Thankful we did more wall paper

stripping in lil darlings bath

room.  Was hoping to finish that

today, but unfortunately not.

Hopefully just one more day

and it will be time for paint.
