Happy October Sweet Friends,
Man, can not believe we are in October already,
Seems like September was just a whirl wind.
Hope this finds you all enjoying your Fall season
where ever you live. We are back to warmer
temps, but still cooler than what they were. So
we are happy about that.

Thankful that they had done a lot of work
on our Daughter and Son in Loves house
while they were gone. Which is great!!
Awaiting inspection next week.

Thankful for the beauty of the sun rays
coming across our backyard and woods
as the sun comes up. Almost breathtaking.

Thankful for early morning hunger that
occasionally gets me out of bed for a bowl
of cereal, while I browse a Southern Living
magazine, and it's early enough that I can
still go back to bed. lol

Thankful that hubby and I had a talk
yesterday and we both felt we need to
find some things to do that we used to
do, but due to circumstances of this last
year we have just got out of the habit of
and we need to get out of our rut. lol

Thankful for a lovely Sunday. We made
it a point to get out of our rut today.
So After church.....
We got take out from Olive Garden, and ate
in the dining room rather than kitchen, an
it was delicious. then because it was cool
outside in the shade, we sat out in the back
yard for about 2 hrs., and it was so lovely
peaceful and quiet and just so nice to be out
there, cause we have been captives of the heat
all Summer. We got to see about 5 baby birds
flitting about for while, an going to our bird
bath, until I decided to put some clean water
in the bird bath, then they stopped....Dang!!
We also read some in a book hubby is reading
given to him by our Pastor about church
leadership which is quite good.
Then we came in and had some pecan pie
that was yummy and we were both gonna
take a nap, but something I ordered for
lil darling came and it was not the right
item, so had to try an figure that out which
took way longer than I expected cause they
would not let me order the right one. It
did finally let me, but it took a lot of going
back and forth and checking Amazon to
see if they had it yada yada. So no nap
for me today......
but it was a very good day.

Thankful that Wally World let me reorder
the item finally.........now we have to send
back the other one, which isn't even close
to looking like the right one. So thankful
that Walmart and Amazon make it easy to
return things..........
Note: Thankful the new one came and it
was the right one this time, and looks
nice in her bathroom.

Thankful that we have gotten to live in our
neighborhood for 45+years, It has truly
been a wonderful place to live and we have
very nice neighbors as well.

Thankful for 2 nice long conversations with
our girl this week, as I have been missing her
lately, as they were away and then they had
some friends come to town.
She always brightens my day.

Thankful that hubby and I have been sticking
to our rut busting activities, at least with one
or two each day. Which is making life
a lil more fun............lol

Thankful my hubby got to spend some time
with a young man, we have known for years,
who recently lost his Dad. Much needed.

Thankful we got to see our Son and lil
darling today, got to see the new things
they have gotten done in their new home,
as they are still getting settled in.
We all had dinner together as well.
