Fall Greetings Sweet Friends,

Hope your week has been a good

one.  Ours has been. We have

warmed up some this week,

much to our dismay....lol

but that's the way our Fall

weather goes here in florida.

Todays pictures are of all

So..... on with my Thankfuls

Thankful and can you hear us singing the "Hallelujah Chorus"

 as we finally finished the wall paper stripping in lil darlings bathroom. Now we can finally move head with getting it painted. It was truly a labor of Love. lol

Thankful that I got to spend the better part of the day visiting with a dear friend.  Always so enjoyable!  Thanks Becky

for coming.

Thankful for an opportunity

to bless someone and make their

day, and it truly blessed our

day as well. It really is more blessed to give than to receive.

 As Acts 20:35 says!

the Lords way of doing things

is just so opposite of what we

typically think.

Thankful for Pastor Allen Jackson, a Pastor in Tennessee,

that we watch on You tube

He is excellent and so down to

earth, and definitely preaches

the word of god.  We love listening to him.

thankful for a comedian that

 we have seen on dry bar comedy

 tonight saw on "Focus on 

the family".  He is really funny

and has very clean humor.

His name is Kenn Kington.

Thankful for these small 

battery operated lamps we got

about 6 mos. or so ago. They are

so cute and I love that if I get

up during the night I can use one

of them rather than turning on

our normal lights which are of

course, much brighter.  they make

it just seem so cozy if you are 

reading, sitting or eating!!

Thankful for a nice long phone chat with another long time friend yesterday.  We have been texting, but so much nicer to actually get some details on things, and to catch up.

Thankful for a pumpkin bundt

cake I made earlier this week,

it has been so good, and we started putting apple butter

 on it which made it even better.

Just one piece left

and Hubby got it!!  😞 lol

Thankful that hubby had the 

idea for us to try and do a

crossword puzzle together,

as neither of us are good at

those, but when he retired our

Daughter had given him a crossword puzzle book, along with some other puzzle books

 as well. So he thought maybe 

with both of us that might work, and guess what?? it did!!

We finished the whole puzzle,

and had a lot of fun doing it.

So there will be more of that

in our future!!  lol

Thankful we had another opportunity to  bless someone this week. Such a 

blessing for both of us and 

especially for me, since I am home

bound, so always looking for an

 opportunity  to be a blessing

 from a distance.

Thankful to be able to see,

talk, hear, eat and walk.

So easy to take all that for granted.

Thankful for the enjoyment of living in our home, and having it decorated for Fall. 

 So enjoying that!
