Guess what???  The Best Wedding Pictures have

finally arrived and I can't wait to show you,

so that would be my

I am thankful

for all the beautiful Wedding Pictures that were

taken of Scott and Megan and the Wedding. They have a ton,

of pictures, some the same shots from many sources, but they will 
never run out of pictures to look at ....that is for sure!! 
 and coming from someone who had just 10 wedding pictures,
that were like candid shots mostly I am beyond thrilled that
 they have all those neat pictures to enjoy every anniversary 
or whenever they want to look at them.

I am thankful

for this handsome young man we call our son,

and for the wisdom he has gained especially in

these last 3 years or so.

I am thankful

for this wonderful young woman we now call

our daughter-in-love!  Scott was out of town

and she invited us to come over last night to see

 the pictures since she just got them, and we

 had such a fun time with her.

She truly is a precious girl!

that Megan and DeeAnna, our daughter were friends in

 High School. That is how she and Scott met, through

DeeAnna inviting them to a cookout at her apt., with 
that purpose in mind.  She could tell they both were
 interested in each other.

Our lil Cupid!!  What a good job she did!!

Here they are together!

I am thankful

that they are even closer friends now,  and that they love

each other so much!  DeeAnna is thrilled to finally have
a sister and so nice that they all get together quite often.

He saw his parents, We got to be part of the wedding party,
How fun is that!!               

Then he sees  his sister, one of the 5 in the bridal party.


and of course, he saw her Mom and Dad and the other
bridesmaids and the flower girl,  just didn't show them
cause too many people to ask for permission !!  lol

for all the joy this wedding (really I should say marriage)
 has given to not only our family,
but to so many that love them both as well.

He's got his bride and he is getting out of here!!  lol

that she not only loves and honors her parents,
but us, as well,  and Scott not only loves and
honors us,  but her parents too!
Such a blessing to us all...........

that the Wedding was wonderful
but mostly because we feel the Marriage is
going to be Wonderful!!
They are just sooo good together!!

 Hope you have enjoyed the virtual Celebration
with us,  I know you have been waiting awhile,
so hope it was worth your wait.


Also hope it is a great reminder of your own
Wedding Day!!  It is always good to think
back on that day to remind ourselves why
we married the person we did,  and all the
JOY we had on that grand day!

How has your monday been??

Good I hope!!  and your 

weekend??

Our's was good,  we went our grocery

shopping Friday night and came back

and watched Father of the Bride part

I,  like iggits,  and was up till 2 p.m.,

but I do love that movie.  Steve Martin

just cracks me up, and he is such a

great dad in this movie,  love it!!

Saturday was fairly quiet,  not a lot

going but we did get to keep Rosie

over night!!  Always a fun highlight

for us!!

Sunday was good as well,  but our

usual,  other than Dee and Jerry

came by for a bit to pick Rosie up,

after visiting his parents.  We got to

talk about some wedding stuff, 

of course!!  lol

Now my real reason for posting,

I feel terrible..............cause I have

taken so long...............

 but things have been

just a bit crazy around here lately.

Actually,  I really was quite thrilled

that she thought of me,  and did

and now the #2 thing I am suppose to

 tell you 7 or however many things I would

like to tell you about myself.

Here we go.......................

1. I am a very happy and contented

woman,  and I truly love my life.

2.  I only have half brothers or step

brothers,  and I had 2 step sisters,

but one passed away last year.

and my one half brother that I grew

up with, who was like a real brother,

 passed away about 10 years ago now.

Don't know what made me think of

that!  but that made me think of

the next one too!!  lol

3.  I have 2 half sisters who are 

younger than my children, but haven't

seen them since my Dad passed away

which was about 17 years ago.

Long Story!!

4.  I didn't learn to swim till I was an

adult,  actually,  I was about 28 yrs. old.

but I only swim in a pool!!  lol

5.  I so enjoy beautiful things,  any

where from flowers to sunsets and

everything in between,  they just 

make my heart happy!

6.  I have an influencing/dominant 

personality according to a personality

profile I took years back.

7.  I have lived in the same house

and gone to the same church for the

last 30-31 years.

I am suppose to choose someone

else I would like to give the award to,

and if you accept it,  you are suppose

to go thru the same steps I did.

Now I realize some of you may be

an award/tag free blog, and if you are 

and you don't want to do anything

that is fine by me!  I just thought

Welcome to Thankful Thursday - June 2, 2011

How has your week been??

Very good,  I hope!!

Our's has been good!!

Sorry I am posting so late but it has been a busy day around 

here!!   Then we left for my sweet sister-in-law's, Susan's

 retirement party at 4:30,  and got back around 8:30 or so, 

 and had coffee and watched her open her gifts. 

 It was a nice day!!

So my

 #1 

I am Thankful

would be for the nice retirement party all the teachers gave

 for her, and for all the nice comments and gifts.  She was

really tickled and I think she felt very loved,  for which

we are so grateful,  and she is sooo looking forward

to this time off,  and we are so excited for her. 

 She has been a wonderful kindergarten teacher for

 32 years, I think it is!

that something is finally in the works for hubby and

I will share more as soon as I can.  Think you might

be hearing us sing the halleleujah chorus soon!!

Only the Lord knows for sure!!  lol

that Scott and Megan should be getting their

wedding pictures soon,  so I can show you some.

I have some we took,  but the ones from the 

photographer are just so much better!!

So figured it would be best to just wait.

We saw some that the photographer posted

on facebook,  so you want be disappointed,

they are really beautiful!

that we finally got a lil rain and I am feeling

  better energy wise....so guess it must have

washed away some of the pollen.

Praise the Lord!!

I am thankful

that Susan loved her gift from our whole family. 

We all thought it was so cool................. 

We bought her a Mint floor cleaner, since she plans 

on getting new laminate flooring soon. 

 It is a robotic floor swiffer,  and it will also damp mop

 the floors and also has a GPS system to guide it.

All the reviews were great!

Now we all want one!!  lol

I made it through her party with no problems as I

was so hot most of the time.  aaaaaaaaahhh,

these dratted hot flashes!!  lol

I am thankful

our kitty Molly's hair is growing finally growing back,

she has allergies to something, and it will cause

her to pull her fur out,  and believe me,  she is quite

a sight!!  She's actually starting to look

 like a cat again!!

we heard some news about Joey (our grandaughter dog)

and she  is doing very well with her new family.  She is 

getting comfortable for sure,  cause she is getting back

 to her old grouchy self!!  lol

we will be meeting with the The hotel administrative

person next Saturday to talk about the wedding.

The lady has been unavailable due to her Father

 being very ill,  so we have been trying not to

bother her.

for the great time we had with my friend Patti

that came to visit last Sunday.  Hoping to see her

again this Sunday.

I am thankful

for the scriptural admonition to put on  the whole

armor of God,  because we have really needed

to do that lately.  The enemy has certainly been

trying to prowl around  here!!

for a BeeGee's video my sister-in-law loaned us,

we are having such fun watching it. What a blast

from the past even tho it was made recently......

they used to be one of my fav groups when I was

 in High School.  How bout you????
