I am Thankful
would be for the nice retirement party all the teachers gave
for her, and for all the nice comments and gifts. She was
really tickled and I think she felt very loved, for which
we are so grateful, and she is sooo looking forward
to this time off, and we are so excited for her.
She has been a wonderful kindergarten teacher for
32 years, I think it is!

I am thankful

I will share more as soon as I can. Think you might
be hearing us sing the halleleujah chorus soon!!
Only the Lord knows for sure!! lol
#3
I am thankful
that Scott and Megan should be getting their

I have some we took, but the ones from the

So figured it would be best to just wait.
We saw some that the photographer posted
on facebook, so you want be disappointed,
they are really beautiful!

I am thankful
that Susan loved her gift from our whole family.
We all thought it was so cool.................
We bought her a Mint floor cleaner, since she plans
on getting new laminate flooring soon.
It is a robotic floor swiffer, and it will also damp mop
the floors and also has a GPS system to guide it.
All the reviews were great!
Now we all want one!! lol
#6
I am thankful
I made it through her party with no problems as I
was so hot most of the time. aaaaaaaaahhh,
these dratted hot flashes!! lol

I am thankful
our kitty Molly's hair is growing finally growing back,
she has allergies to something, and it will cause
her to pull her fur out, and believe me, she is quite
a sight!! She's actually starting to look
like a cat again!!

I am thankful

I am thankful
we will be meeting with the The hotel administrative
person next Saturday to talk about the wedding.
The lady has been unavailable due to her Father
being very ill, so we have been trying not to
bother her.

I am thankful
for the great time we had with my friend Patti
that came to visit last Sunday. Hoping to see her
again this Sunday.

I am thankful
for the scriptural admonition to put on the whole
armor of God, because we have really needed
to do that lately. The enemy has certainly been
trying to prowl around here!!

P.S Someone emailed me tonight and said they were
having trouble trying to post a comment and my hubby
tried to post a comment, and he had a terrible time
and eventually it took it, but if you have been having
trouble too, would you kindly leave me an email
telling me so we can try to rectify the problem if
possible. Just go to my side bar where it says
to contact me. Thanks .....
Have a great weekend!!!!
There has been a universal problem in the comment area of blog land.
ReplyDeleteI love number 11 the best! I'm thankful for that one, too.
And your shadow picture is wonderful. I love a catch like that.
#1. It was so nice! I'm glad you (and Regina) got alot of pictures! It was so nice to be with so many teacher friends! I wrote thank you cards to them all each and every one today!
ReplyDelete#2. I think I hear the angels singing too!!
#3. OH! I can hardly wait to see them too!
#4. I surely we will get some more rain soon.
#5. I AM JUST SO EXCITED!! I am still reading about it to make sure I know what I'm doing!
#6. I was hoping it wasn't too warm for you. They are usually pretty good about having it cool, but I guess with all of the people it took up the cool air.
#7. I am so glad. Sarah has been scratching too. She gets this scabby, scaly stuff under her hair. Tom had to give her a shot and it got much better.
#8. I hope her "old ways" won't discourage them.
#9. I know you are glad to be getting started. I surely hope her father is better.
#10. I hope you get to see her this weekend.
#11. I am so overjoyed to start my day with the WORD, prayer, and my journal. It has surely made a difference in my life and has brought me closer to the LORD.
#12. They are much older in this concert. I can't believe this video is their 40th year singing! I have one of theirs from 10 years ago that is even better. Sad note, Morris (the bro in the long black jacket) has passed away this last year.
I surely love you all so much!
Love, Susan
Lots of blogger probs! I taught school for 33 yrs, and I love being retired. Never bored!
ReplyDeleteNellie, I pray you have good news soon!
Gorgeous pictures. Thank you for visiting me over at Pittpat Paperie and leaving the nice comment about my pens. I bought the duct tape at Wal Mart and they also sell it at Lowes. Probably lots of other places as well. Sorry I didn't add that info. to my blog. Have a great weekend Ÿ
