Playing..........one centerpiece 2 tables, part 1

Hello Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds you doing well.........
and maybe accomplishing something
you are excited about.....

I am doing well and have been working
hard over here and having such a good
time doing it......accomplishing a lot
and really loving that.... in our office/
computer room and guest bedroom.
Still more to go...which is fine, as
long as I am making progress....
I am happy..............

After Easter I had these flowers left
 over from our Easter table...........

and these peachy pink goblets that
I had asked my SIL Susan, to loan
us for our Easter table, (and that
she so graciously gave me.....
Thanks  Susan!)
They didn't wind up working out
for the Easter Table............
So the day after Easter I felt like
playing so since I had the flowers
and the glasses, decided to see
what sort of table I could come up
with,  just for the fun of it, and for
future reference. and hubby and
I always enjoy using the table
for din din................

The green placemats were already out
from use on our Easter Table,

So went after these napkins that I
have had forever,  but that I love.....
they are multicolor florals and I can
use them with different colors
depending on which way I fold them.
I have used them with purple/
lavendar, green, pink, and with the
 peach like you see here.

Then used my white corelle dishes.
I have to say I love corelle ware,
they are so light and durable, and
I use them as my everyday dishes.

Disclaimer......I get no profit in any
way from Corelle or anyone else for
 my review of Corelle dishes,
I just love them, and think others
 might too.

They came with a dinner plate,
salad/cereal bowls and
bread and butter/appetizer plates.

By accident my daughter and I
stumbled onto some square salad
plates with rounded corner at the
Christmas tree store for $1. each
and they looked so much like
corelle ware, so I bought those
so now I have salad bowls or
plates whichever I prefer.

This was done on our kitchen table,
where we eat most of our meals
 when it is just us.

Carnations are always a great
flower to use as they last a long
time, especially if you use a
flower preservative packet.

That is a bread basket in the
center of the table,  in case
you can't tell.........lol

Thanks for coming by today,  and
hope you were inspired to make
your dinner hour....
a little more special.

Have a really lovely week.

Love, Hugs and
Happy May Blessings,
Nellie

  3. Hi, Nellie.
The goblets look great! I'm so glad you can use them. It's been YEARS since they have been used. I'm so glad you have them in your pretty decors! The colors are really nice! I like your pink carnations too! They are so pretty cut short in the little jar! Love you all, Susan

  7. So pretty! I love those beautiful floral napkins and like how your carnations coordinate with them. Spring green placemats and white dishes look great terrific as well. My mom is a huge fan of Corelle - they do have quite a variety of dishes and for sure, they last!

  8. Morning Lori,
Thanks so much for coming by and for all your sweet comments. They are certainly appreciated. Yea, I had corelle ware in my early years of marriage and actually gave it to my aunt because I was tired of them and she wanted new dishes and
I had them for years but they still looked brand new when I gave them away. Then I went with Ironstone for a long time after that, and it was a nice change but it chipped and was heavy, so decided to just go back to the corelle ware for everyday.. in pure white this time. They do have quite a variety of styles tho.

Hope you have a lovely day,
    Blessings,
    Nellie
