Good Sunday Afternoon to You,
Hope you are having a great day!
I happened on this quote, that I wrote in the
back of my bible many years back. I heard
it in a sermon from our Pastor at that time.
I believe it is truth............
“Watch your thoughts, they become words;
watch your words, they become actions;
watch your actions, they become habits;
watch your habits, they become character;
watch your character,
for it becomes your destiny.”

That's why it is so important for us to follow the LORD's examples for our lives. We are to become more like Him and less like our "old" selves. I have found my goal for the last several years has been to ask Him to lead, guide, and direct me in all I think, do and say to be to His glory, honor, and praise! It is definitely a challenge, but with His help, I pray I continue to be in His will more and more! Love you, Susan
ReplyDeleteLove the quote, Nellie, I have always told my children, "think before you speak". It is amazing how our thoughts lead to so many consequences in our life, hopefully my thoughts will lead to good consequences.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed your Thankful Thursday thoughts as I was reading them I was thinking, if Nellie had a thankful/blessings jar, hers would soon be full! I truly enjoy mine. You have such a thankful heart and spirit.
Thank you for visiting, and for your kind sweet thoughts, I am trying so hard to get back to blogging, but am finding it a little hard.
Have a blessed week.
Sue
