Let them praise the name of the LORD,
for his name alone is exalted; his splendor
is above the earth and the heavens.
Psalm 148:13
Welcome to October
Sweet Friends......
Can you believe it....less than 2 mos.
until Christmas......Amazing how this
year just seems to have flown by.
Been a busy and productive week
around here I am happy to say.....
I have gone back to list making
and it is amazing how that helps
me stay on track. Otherwise,
we are just flying by the seat
of our pants....LOL
Pictures today are from Fall's past....
On with my Thankfuls..............
#1
Watched "the return" last Friday night
and all day Saturday. In case you don't know
what it is, it was also a prayer event that
was going on at the same time the Prayer
March was happening in Washington D.C.
It was so wonderful to see so many
prayers going up for our nation and to be
able to agree in prayer at home. They left
no rock un turned either, they prayed
about everything you could think of, which
was just so neat.................So our country and
even others were well covered.
A very amazing event.
We thought they would show some of
the prayer walk but never did see any-
thing about it unfortunately......and we
definitely saw nothing in the news
about either event.........Shocking!

Thankful for the new supreme court
choice President Trump has selected.
She seems like a Wonderful choice.
#3
Thankful for the cute things I found
for a baby shower this coming weekend.
#4
Thankful for lunch out on Sunday
just hubby and I, to Longhorns.
Also for extra shrimp hubby got
due to a mistake on my food.
#5
Thankful for a visit from a younger
friend that we have not seen in
months (talked to tho). It was great
to see her and catch up on life
together.
#6
Thankful that I finally had time
to make some sympathy cards
I have been needing to make,
and a baby card for upcoming
baby shower.
#7
Thankful to get a gift ordered that
needed to be ordered too.
#8
Thankful hubby finally was able to go
for an eye appt and to get glasses,
he hasn't ever had to wear any
prescription glasses before, only
readers, but his vision has changed
a bit so hopefully this will fix the
problem, if not it might mean
cataract surgery.
#9
Thankful it was 68 degrees this
morning so we took to the porch
again. So lovely out! I think
our high is 78 today which is
really nice here. (Wed)
#10
Thankful we had lil darling all
day today, as she is out of school
cause one of the teachers got covid
so they closed school this week and
next week but next week is Fall
break anyway, so it was a good time
if it had to happen, then hopefully they
will be able to resume in a few weeks.
Course, no one knows for sure yet.
#11
Thankful that we were able to
have breakfast on the porch and
open our windows for a while for
some fresh air today. (Thursday)
#12
Thankful that "My Faith Votes" is
doing a Think, Pray, and Vote present-
ation with Kirk Cameron again. We went
to one in 2016 that was in theatres
all across America, and it was awesome,
everyone was praying for the country
at the same time and we both found it to
be very helpful. No one is telling you who
to vote for, but they encourage you
to vote, and to vote prayerfully based
on the issues.
In case you are interested:
The rally is 2 weeks in a row, and
on Friday Oct 2nd and 9th, 2020
on Trinity Broadcasting network
at 8 P.M.

I watched and prayed with the prayer march too, Nellie it was so uplifting, I thought it would get more press than what it did, even Fox news didn't do it justice. Hope the glasses work for your husband, I had cataract surgery with implanted lenses in 2012, it has worked perfectly for me.

Yes, I was very surprised that the prayer walk got so lil press....you would think everyone would be happy that people are praying for these crazy times in which we are living!!
Yea, we are hoping his glasses work well too, guess it will be another week or so before he
