Sing to him, sing praise to him;
tell of all his wonderful acts.
1 Chronicles 16:9 NIV
Greetings Sweet Friends,
How are yall? Feeling like Summer weather
where you live???
It has been like August here this week.
So hot, and had a lil bit of rain........and
looking forward to more rain if these temps
stay up, as it helps cool things off some.
Sooo not ready for this yet, but ready or
not here it comes. Ohhh Boy!!
Pictures today are from a past Mother's Day
table I came across, so since Mother's day
is coming up thought it might inspire some
one to set a pretty table for their Mom.
So on with my Thankfuls...............
#1
Thankful for the TBN "Better Together" Show.
I know I have said it before, but it is just such
an inspiring show and I just gain so much
encouragement and inspiration from it.
It's like a bunch of girl friends sitting around
talking about their faith and experiences.
If you haven't ever watched it, you are
really missing out...........if you want to
check it out......

Thankful for a good day at church,
and a fun time out to lunch with
our friends, as it's been awhile.
Neat too, that they are letting us
stand around and chat a bit now
after service, as that hasn't been
allowed in the building until now.
We were allowed to talk outside
in the parking lot if we wanted.
#3
Thankful for something I never really thought
about, that Pastor James Merritt from Georgia
said in his sermon on bigotry on Sunday. He
said does anyone know what color skin that
Adam and Eve had? and of course, everyone
said NO, and he said exactly, that's because
it doesn't matter to God.
Never really thought of that before,
but I believe it is so true, God knew
He would be creating African people,
Chinese people, Cuban people, English
people and Alaskan people, Indian
people and on and on it goes...........
So if it doesn't matter to God,
why in the world would or should
it matter to us.
Loved that Question....cause it is
a great question.
#4
Thankful for the opportunity to encourage
a younger woman who is going through
a rough patch right now.
#5
Thankful for 7 new cards I completed
and hubby will add to our shop this week.
#6
Thankful that my friend with the
broken legs got a good report at the Dr.
this week. She accidently hurt her leg
a little bit last week, and they were
concerned about it, so the Dr. did an
xray and everything still looks good.
She has been through so much, and
is in good spirits still....so happy
about that..
#7
Thankful for a new food item we found at the
grocery store this week. It is by Green Giant,
they are frozen zucchini fries, and they were
really great with a hamburger, baked beans
and watermelon. It feels like Summer outside
already, 99 degrees on the porch, so decided
on a Summer meal. It was all delicious!
#8
Thankful that Tuesday May 4th, was
my 12 year Blogaversary, and very
Thankful for what a great enjoyment
it has been in my life; to meet others
folks who enjoy the same things, for all
the inspiration I gain from each of you,
for the pictures I have that I can now
use for making cards, that I would not
have had, also for being like pen pals with
some of you...
It really has been a delightful part of
my life.....so thanks to all of you who
have blessed my life in so many ways.
#9
Thankful that we got to go to Lil Darlings
end of the year program today and to celebrate
the end of the school year with her and our Son
at Olive Garden for lunch.
#10
Thankful we got to spend the rest of the day
with her, as Dad had to get back to work
until later in the day. Thankful we will
get to have her all day every Thursday
now for the end of Summer.
#11
Thankful for a nice time out shopping with hubby
for Mother's day. I actually found some nice blouses
that I think will work. Didn't feel like trying them
on cause it was a hot day and I felt all sweaty and
yukky, So much easier for us to just go together,
and that's part of the gift really.
#12
Thankful for something that made us smile and laugh
while we were out shopping. This wee lil girl that
was probably less than two was acting like Mommy.
She had a shopping bag over her shoulder and was
walking out of the store looking like a very serious
shopper.......It was just so adorable.....
That's it for Cozy Place this week.....
Thanks for coming by.....
Have a great rest of the week.
Love, Hugs and
Spring Blessings to you,
Nellie
