Thankful Thursday December 9, 2021, Our Christmas foyer and living room 2021

As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more.

Psalm 71:14 NIV

Seasons Greetings

Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds you well, and enjoying all your lovely

decorating and Christmas time traditions. I am

about to finish up, Lord willing I am hoping for

today,  but will see what happens.

Pictures today are from Christmas Decorating

 this year (2021).

So on with my Thankfuls............

#1

Thankful for Organic Bananas.....We never buy them but went to the store to get bananas and they were all out.  Bananas are a staple item for us,  and there was this huge area where they usually have them, and it was completely empty, and I was like WOW - must be supply chain problems.....anyway,  I was in the produce section and looking around and lo and behold they had a small amount of Organic Bananas in a different area, so that made me a happy and thankful girl..............

#2

Thankful for a great day with lil darling on Friday. We did schooling, and she helped me do some Christmas decorating, and she did a great job.  We also went for a wagon ride which always puts a smile on our face, and on some of our neighbors or passer byers face as well. We take her lil dog too, and Lola loves it as much as we do!  Then we came back and watched "The Christmas cookie challenge" on TV and she loved it,  but then she wanted to bake some cookies, but it was time for her to go home, so will have to wait till next time.

#3

Thankful that our electric bill was about $70 lower

this month cause we haven't had to use our air or

 heat very much.  Nice Surprise!

#4

Thankful we have been able to buy

almost all our Christmas gifts locally this year.

Our Foyer

#5 and 6

Thankful for times of reflection and what

it teaches you or reminds you of.  This

week I was reflecting back on my almost

70 years of life, and am very thankful

for how good the Lord has been to me

and my family, and how well he has taken

care of me, and my family even in some of

the hardest times of life, and we have

never done without anything we needed.

Such a comfort and reminder during

this crazy season of life.

#7

Thankful for this adorable rendition of the Christmas

story done by children. Put on by a church.

I promise it will put a smile on your face.

#8

Thankful for Christmas music, and the joy that it brings to our hearts!

#9

Several nights of really beautiful sunset skies with lots of pinks.  Just Gorgeous!

#10

Thankful our friend is doing some better,  he had

a chest x-ray,  so no pneumonia,  PTL and he is

at least slowly improving.

#11

Thankful that everyone who was supposed to show

up to work in the house my Daughter is renovating/

decorating for a client,  showed up and are hard

at work, and also her hubby took off to help move

and put furniture together and just assist in any

way he can.  They had a whole room of things

she had been accumulating for this design project,

So they rented a truck so they could just move

it all at once.  He's so supportive!  Love that!

and she's very excited since this is her first

real client where she is doing the whole house.

#12

Thankful to have finally finished our Christmas

decorating.  Hubby helped me do the tree on

Thursday which made it go so much faster,

and we got it all packed away and it is a

done deal, so now just totally enjoying

it all now.........It's a lot of work, but it is

worth it, and can't imagine Christmas

without any decorations.
