First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. 1 Timothy 2:1-2
Welcome to May....Sweet Friends,
Can't believe we are entering May but
Very excited that this is the National
Day of Prayer for our nation.
I totally believe in prayer and
that God hears every prayer even
when it doesn't seem like it or
we don't get an answer right away.
Hope you are gonna participate in
it, either at home or at church.
Your prayers are important to
our nation, for sure. Every year
I like to watch what happens after
the National day of prayer and you
can see good things happening for
months afterwards, and it makes
me wish we had it more than once
a year. Course, we can have those
results still..... if we are all
committed to pray for our leaders
and nation daily ourselves!!
On with my Thankfuls.....
#1 and 2
I am thankful for the national day
of prayer every year, and I am
thankful for the gift of prayer
and what a blessing it is....and the
peace that it brings to my life
and the lives of others.
#3
I am thankful for our church that we
have been a part of for almost 45 + years,
and all the churches across our country
and in other countries across the globe.
#4
I am thankful first and foremost for
The Father, His Son, Jesus and Holy Spirit
who is the reason for the church, prayer
and the Bible in the first place.
#5
Thankful for the Bible and the truth,
teachings and guidance that it brings to
our lives every time we read or hear it.
#6
Thankful for our President and Vice
President and their families and
administration. Thankful too, for
what great leaders they are and that they
take their job of protecting the Constitution
and the American People seriously, as well,
as trying to keep peace in the world.
Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God.” – Romans 13:1

Thankful for grocery stores,
especially Publix, Walmart neighborhood,
and Aldi.........Some people really disdain
going there, but I have always enjoyed
going grocery shopping, if I am not having
to rush. That tends to take the fun out
of it for me, anyway!

Thankful hubby found those new
Wedding flower hydrangeas online
today and they were a really good
price, so we were able to order
2 and get free shipping. They
will arrive on Wed., so hoping
they look good! They don't have
them at any of the nurseries in our
area so you have to order them if
you want them.
Note: they arrived today, and they look
pretty good just a lil bit wilty, but it was
hot in that box I am sure. So we are
gonna baby them and ease them into
the potting and the sun, so as not to
shock them too much. Can't wait
to see them bloom which will be
a bit I would imagine.

Thankful we were able to attend
the installation service for our
Two Co- Pastors It was a really
a lovely service and everyone
loves them both so much. The Lord
has really blessed our church with
these Two Godly young men ( they
are in their early 40's) but young
to us! lol Also with their lovely
wives, and family. All of their
children are musically inclined, which
is so amazing. One Pastor has three
children, the other has five children.
What a blessing they all are!!

Thankful that I made Chicken salad
last week, and it was so great to just
have it in the fridge for snacking.
So decided I am gonna do this weekly
and just rotate between, Chicken,
Ham, Tuna and Egg salad. It was
really so handy and made for a great
go to, that made us happy. lol
Note: Not too crazy about the
ham salad, so will probably
take that off the rotation. lol
#12
Thankful that I was able to get a
Prayer checklist for America from
the Presidential prayer team for
today. If you wish to get one you
can go to the above address on #7
and should be able to find one.
#13
Thankful that we saw 2 bunnies in our
backyard yesterday morning, and 2 squirrels
all out and having breakfast and running
around. So Cute!! We love that we have
woods around us, cause we so love
and enjoy the wildlife.
Not them, but looks like them!! lol
