There is a time for everything, and a season
for every activity under the heavens:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV
Greeting Sweet Friends,
and Happy Fall to Yall
Not feeling Fallish outside here yet,
but it is inside the house.....lol
Been a good week for the most part,
but my hubby had some issues that
weren't so fun, but he is better now,
just still healing up. You will read
about it below.
Pictures this week are from our
Fallercized family room.
So on with my Thankfuls.....
#1
Thankful to be able to go to another
Volley Ball game and out to dinner
with Lil darling and her Dad again.
They won both games again, but it
was an on the edge of your seat game.
Neck and Neck till the last minute.
Very exciting to watch.
#2
Thankful for sunshine, love getting my
Vitamin D that way too. Feels awesome and boosts your serotonin levels and helps you
keep a lil bit of a tan too.
Note, In case you don't know.... it is really
good for anyone who is struggling with depression to sit out in the sun for about
10-15 mins. 3-5 times a week , as it
really will help fight depression.
#3
Thankful for a number of long chats with
our Daughter this week.
#4
Thankful that one of our Pastors daughters
sang the National. Anthem at our ball
game, She also plays volleyball as well.
She did such an amazingly beautiful job,
so proud of her. Her Mom and whole
family are very musically inclined and
very talented... they all sing beautifully.
#5
Thankful that my hubby ran to the
store to get some subs for din din, and
came back with Fall Roses colored
roses as they were on sale, which was
great. as I only pay full price if I just
have to have them for a special table
or something. He had noticed my ones
I got over a week ago had taken
a nose dive. It was wierd cause the
buds were still fine, and had hardly
opened, but they just went limp.
Such a sweet surprise. and now they
look pretty on the dining room table
again, and this time he really did
bring them to me. lol
#6
Thankful for Publix subs. I get the
Cuban sub and it is always delicious.
#7
Thankful for these wonderful cookies
we found in our Publix bakery, they
are called "Cranberry Orange Short
bread cookies", and they are really
delicious.
#8
Thankful to be able to watch and be
blessed by Charlie Kirk's Memorial
Service. It was amazing to see all the
people that were there..... over 90-100
thousand in attendance, and 8 million +
watched on Newsmax. We watched
it on TBN, so no telling how man
watched on TBN and other media.
So many folks that had nothing but
great things to say about him and how
he had touched their lives. It was truly
like watching a revival unfold before
your eyes. We could feel the Lord's
presence there, even in our home.
Such an inspirational gathering.
#9
Thankful to know the peace. comfort
and joy that can only come from the
Lord, during times like these.
#10
Thankful hubby was able to get an
appt. with the Dr. tomorrow, as he
has a very Angry Sebaceous cyst
on this back. Just flared up over
the weekend.
Note: Went to Dr. and they cleaned
it out, but in 6 weeks or so, he will
have to have it removed. Dr. tried to
get it out but it wouldn't come with
out surgery, unfortunately, but hopefully
it will be feeling better by tomorrow.

Thankful I came across an old
blog post with a recipe for chicken
and cheese enchiladas that we liked
but some how forgot about, so made
them for din din tonight and they were
sooo good, if I do say so myself. It is
an easy recipe, and I loved that I could
doll mine all up with lettuce, tomatoes,
scallions and cilantro, sour cream and
Guacamole. We have been missing some
of those ingredients on Mexican food
when we eat out or they barely put any
on....and altho I liked the food, not as
well as what I made tonight....
Cause I had it my way!!! lol
Oh Poo, just realized I should
have taken a picture cause
the recipe doesn't have one.
#12
Thankful hubby is feeling better as
he was having considerable pain with
that cyst, even after they lanced it.
