Thankful Thursday April 30, 2026, and Spring decor with birds and nests

Gracious words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to
 the bones.         Proverbs 16:24 NIV

Greetings  Sweet Friends,

Hope this finds you well and happy.

Been a good week here thus far.

Looking forward to seeing our

Son and lil darling on Saturday.

and also looking forward to our

Daughter coming again soon.

Pictures today are  Spring desserts

compliments of Pixabay.

            On with my Thankfuls.....

#1

Thankful I am rereading the most lovely book that was gifted to me years ago from a sweet blog friend

It is called "A Thousand gifts" by Ann VosKamp. Every since I recieved it, on my coffee table it goes every  Spring, at some point because the front has a bird nest of it.....

love that, and the book itself, is wonderful and eye opening.

#2

Thankful for that eye opening as

I caught a glimse of what she was

talking about just moments after

reading again. I found myself

looking at the morning light

sparkling and streaming thru the window and realizing what a true gift it is, as it made me feel

 how dependable, faithful, loving,

 and creative our God is.

We can count on him, because he brings us a beautiful sunrise

every single morning and a

beautiful sunset every evening,

and we can count on that daily,

and it is a sign to us "I love You,

I am here now and everyday!

#3

Thankful for the sermons our

Pastor has been teaching on

spiritual warfare the last 3

 weeks,  they have been excellent.

#4

Thankful for Z88.3 our Christian

radio station. Love the music and love

that I many times wake up during

the night singing it in my head.

#5

Thankful to hear from one of my best friends finally, as I had tried to call and left a voice mail, and also tried again by text, the next day, but heard nothing back from her until  today. Was about to try again because I was starting to get a bit concerned, then she called. Yay!

#6

Thankful our Daughter and

Son-in-love made it up to their

lake house safe and sound.

Had to go up to do a lil sprucing

up that the normal housekeepers

don't do, and have a few days to

just enjoy it as well.

#7

Thankful that no one was hurt

physcially at that White House

Correspondence Dinner. I am

sure it emotionally took it's toll.

I just can not believe we have

come to this point in America.

It is so very sad, but God,

certainly had his hand on things

once again........Thank You Jesus.

#8

Thankful that  Susan did not hurt herself, as they found her on the

floor during the night.  She forgets

she can't walk at times, and she

is having a lot of confusion at night.

#9

Thankful for a long conversation with our son, on the phone.  That is rare and his Dad and I enjoyed it very much.

#10

Thankful that we got some rain

this week.  We really needed it.

#11

Thankful for yogurt bowls which are really perfect for  Spring and Summer, I think anyway.  Blueberries, strawberries, dried cranberries, nuts and granola.

Full of yummy goodness!

#12

Thankful that my "Anthrium plant"

is looking so healthy.  Had her in the house and she was started to look a little peaked, so watered her good and put her on the porch and she  looks amazing now!!

She need a bit of sunlight, just

like my  Son said. lol

......and he knows cause he works

in the Agriculture field, and

used to be a grower!

That's it for Cozy Place this week!

Thanks for coming by, hope you

have a lovely week ahead.

Love, Hugs and

last day of April Blessings,

Nellie
