Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.
Colossians 3:15 NIV
Greetings Sweet Friends,
and Welcome to June....
Can you believe it we are in June already.
Shocking for me.....this year just seems
to be flying by. Decided to add these pics
today just in case you are like me you and
are looking for Father's Day ideas, as this
was one of our tables some years back.
This sign below was hung over the table.
So on with my Thankfuls.....
#1
Thankful for a good day with lil darling.
Played lots of games and played her favorite
pretend game as restaurant entrepreneur. My
Dad would have loved that since he and my
grandparents were restaurant entrepreneurs. lol
#2
Thankful for a great day at church, and
a meeting with our Childrens Pastor to set
up lil darling to be baptized in June. Then
a good time out with our friends for lunch
at Cracker Barrel.
#3
Thankful for some new chips we happened to find,
They are by Lays, and they are called "Cuban Sandwich" chips. We have been eating Cuban Sandwiches most of our life, and we could not
believe they taste just like a cuban sandwich.
They are a limited edition thing, so hope
they catch on permanently.
#4
Thankful also for some new cookies from Tates
bake shop we got as well, and they are called
"Cookie Bark" and they are indeed scrumptious.
You know how we like new food items
over here!! lol
#5
Thankful that my new plant has grown almost 3" already, and it has only been 8 days. I saw several folks in blogland who cut off the bottom of a romaine lettuce and stuck it in water and new lettuce grows out of it. I know one of the blogs was "Walking on Sunshine" but sorry don't
remember who the other one was. Anyway, in
2 wks you plant it.....am hoping for some tasty
lettuce. Last time I tried growing lettuce it
was bitter, but did it another way that time,
so hoping for better results in taste.
#6
Thankful for leftover biscuits from Cracker
Barrel......we bring them home and I make
a quick peach and blueberry shortcake
for breakfast, Delish!
#7
Thankful for the Joy of sitting in my
backyard on a lounge chair and reading
my new BH & Garden magazine. It's
been a long time since I have done
that (not sure why) and it was really
delightful, shady and breezy. Then
we followed it up by having dinner
out there too!! Always fun to do
something a lil different.
#8
Thankful that we got our screened porch
all dusted and cleaned, so hopefully
breakfast out there tomorrow morning.
Note: Unfortunately, it was too hot! Poo
#9
Thankful for everything bagel seasoning
mix. Now we can have Everything bagels
anytime we want, as long as we have
plain bagels. Just love them!!
#10
Thankful I finally found a place to donate
a futon we have been trying to get rid
of, it's in good condition but it is just
too big for our office, but we have no way
to get it to someone, so had to find a place
that would pick up and deliver it to their
thrift store. So they are finally coming
next week.......Yay!!
Will be happy to have that off my list!!
#11
Thankful for a fun day with lil darling,
and she got a chance to have her lil
friend next door over for lil while
at the end of the day.
#12
Thankful that a TV series we have
enjoyed for years, just came out with
Season 16. It's called "Heartland",
and we weren't sure if there would
be another one, so it was a nice
surprise!
Well, that's it for Cozy Place this week.
Thanks for Checking in.....
and
Have a Fabulous Friday along
with a
Wonderful Weekend!! lol
Love, Hugs and
First of June Blessings,
Nellie

Such a cute idea!!
ReplyDeleteCute tablescape idea! Congrats on the salvation & baptism of your little one! My son was saved this year & will be baptized in a few weeks. I'm blessed beyond measure that the Holy Spirit convicted his heart & he accepted Jesus as his Lord & Savior at a young age (11). I found you over on Grammy's Grid Link Party. I'd love to have you come over & link up on Crafty Creators, open Thursdays at 6am thru Mondays at 11:59pm & Happiness is Homemade, open Sundays thru Thursdays. Hope to see you there!
