Through him then let us continually offer up a sacrifice of praise to God,
that is, the fruit of lips that acknowledge his name.
Hebrews 13:15 NIV
Hello Sweet Friends,
Hope this finds you doing better
than I am. It has been a very
rough week for me, as I have been
having some back issues that have been far worse, than any I have
ever had before. In fact, I am typing this standing up in my kitchen at the counter where hubbies set
up his laptop for me so I could at least check my email and
other things, as I have been trying
not to sit at the computer as that seemed to make things worse. It is 5:45 a.m. and I haven't slept a wink as I am just in too much pain and can not get comfortable, no matter what I do...........the last few nights I had taken ibuprophen and slept really well, but was trying to not take it so I could tell how I really was without it in the morning, as today one side of my lower back was better than the other, so thought I was on the way to healing, but
hoping to get an appt. with a new to me, chiropractor, that a good
friend recommended. I feel it is sacroiliac problems, as I have had
that before, and have tried some stretches and stuff which did
help some. This has been going on
since last Friday, but by Monday
it really was curtailing my activities, then seemed to be better
on Tuesday, and Wed. until later
in the day. This has been the worst
day, cause just could not get comfortable so Really hoping to get in to see the Chiropracter
tomorrow, well today actually.
Pictures today are of some Fall
touches to my kitchen. Couldn't do
much else, but was able to take
a few pictures, and right now
my back feels better standing
here typing, that trying to sit or
lay down. lol Probably not
the greatest pics either.
So on with my Thankfuls...
#1
Thankful for a sweet visit with
our Son and lil darling Thursday evening. I wasn't feeling real great
but after a nap and some food, I
felt good enough to have them over for awhile. They always lift my spirits.

Thankful this is the first day
my Daughter has felt good since
her surgery. Have to say she
did really well, and it wasn't
quite as bad as we thought it
would be, but a lot of soreness
for sure. She went back for
recheck with Dr. today and he
felt all was good and she still
needs to take at easy for awhile.
So Thankful for that.
#3
Thankful for family and friends
who have been praying and
checking in on me, as I have been
laid up with my back for 5 days
now. I am better but definitely
not there yet.
I love this lil printable I found online somewhere, I think it's adorable and a bright
spot everytime I come in my kitchen. If you made it please let me know so I can give
credit where credit is due..................

Thankful for prayers, our
reclining sofa, heating pad,
alleve and ibuprophen, and
most of all my sweet hubby
who has been so helpful and
good to me. Also, for our sweet
Son, who was gonna come and
bring dinner but we had already
eating earlier than normal, but
he and lil darling came by to
visit for a lil while, which ws
a mood brightener, and for my
sweet Daughter who is recovering
herself, said she could send
me so icy hot via insta-cart
from South Carolina. lol
So sweet!! but reminded me I
could use the heating pad!!
Did you know you can do that?
I didn't until 3 yrs ago, when
she did it when we all went
away to the beach for my 70th birthday, she ordered groceries
from Publix and had them
delivered to the condo .what a handy
and wonderful thing that is.

Thankful we got to have lil
darling for schooling this week.
Grampy does most of the teaching
anyway, and fortunatley she didn't
have work in one of the classes
and I was able to do the bible
lesson from the sofa. lol
She is as sweet as ever, and was
such a bright spot for this
furloughed Grammy.

Mid October Blessings,

Praying your appointment goes well today, Nellie. I know back pain can be debilitating at times so hang in there. I'm praying they'll be able to get you some relief soon or at the very least point you in the right direction so you can start the healing process. I'm thankful you're surrounded and supported by so many people who love and care about you. It's such a gift! Hugs, CoCo
