“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the
law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2
Hello Sweet Friends,
Hope your week has been better
than ours. It has been a very
heavy week for our family.
First, have to tell you that my
Sweet Sister in law Susan
passed away last Saturday,
which we knew was inevitable
but we were all shocked as we
just didn't expect it this soon.
So we have been working to arranged all the Memorial
Service things. Only to find
out that one of our best friends
of 40+ years is in the hospital
and it is very serious. She was
on vacation with her hubby in Tenn.
and she was having bad chest pain
so he called an Ambulance, and
it was not her heart thankfully,
but they found a hole in her
esophagus, so they did a procedure
on Tuesday, to put in a stent ,
but only to find out this morning
the stent fell into her stomach,
so now she has to have that
removed and have a dangerous
surgery on her esophagus, and
also has to have a feeding tube
and Sat they will put in a drain
in to get everything that has
gone into her chest cavity and
she is also in a lot of pain and
It is a miracle she is still
alive. So if you are a praying
person we would very much
appreciate your prayers for
our friend Vicki and her family
and for us too, because hubby
and I both feel emotionally
and physically exhausted.
I don't know what I feel.
It's like someone threw a
blanket over my emotions
at the moment.
Note: This being the reason
my post is a day late.
Feeling better but not
there yet..........lol
animals in honor of Susan's love
of all animals. Had to do some
thing to lighten up this post
a bit.......lol

and toast and jelly.

Thankful for Basil Chicken
(we got at Aldi's) and we
had it with cavatappi pasta
and Rios marinara sauce.
It was really delicious.
the chicken comes with 2

on the grill.
Easy Peasy Meal.

Thankful hubby was able to
go with our Son on Saturday

Thankful for all of the care
givers at the Nursing Center
and that they took such good
care of her.
Thankful the arrangements
are made of which Susan had
done most of it herself.
Next is to decide on when to
have the Service and what
to do and say.
