weeping may stay for the night,
but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5 NIV
Hello Sweet Friends,
Hope you are having a sweet day!
We are having a sweet and restful day,
after 4 days of joy with our small family,
even in the midst of Susans's Memorial Service,
which was on Friday, and the reason I am so
late with this post....... but will tell you about
it next Thursday. Cause need to get this
posted today.
Pics today are of floral bouquets since I didn't
have any new photos to show ya. lol
Compliments of Pixabay!!!
On with my Thankfuls.............
#1
Thankful I finally found what I think will be the
perfect floral arrangement that will go with
Susan's picture on the communion table.
Hoping the florist can make it come out the
way it looks on the website.

Thankful for a surprise on Sunday morning,
from the neighbors Daughter, that brought
me the plant for Mother's Day. She brought
us a cinnamon chocolate bread that she made
from scratch. A few months ago she came
to bring something back they had borrowed
so we had a nice long chat with her and
school which she was just so over!! and
we encouraged her to stay the course,
she came to tell us she Graduated with
her AA degree, and looks like she might
go to culinary school. That was so great
to hear, and the Cinnamon Chocolate
bread was delightful.

Thankful that our church hired a seasoned Pastor
to join our staff. He spoke this morning and it
was such an encouraging message. He is 80,
and he and his wife have been missionaries on
the field for years, and have been in and out
of our church for as long as I can remember
(and we have been there almost 45 years.
He was born into a Buddhist family but lil by
lil all of his family came to know Jesus. His
message was "God is not done with us yet"
so as long as we are breathing God can
still use us. I believe that too.

Thankful for the Rededication of America
Celebration on Sunday afternoon, It was
quite enjoyable and informative and can't
wait to see the affects of it on our culture.

Thankful we got the Memorial brochure,
the Eulogy, and a poem all turned into the
church today, for Susan's Memorial Service
on Friday, so that part is all done.
We did a lot of adding and editing
(because different things come to you as
you go along) and you are having to
decide what is more important to add
and what to include in the brochure.
Altho, we were glad to do it....it was a
bit stressful cause we wanted to make sure
we got it as perfect as we could since it is
our last thing to do for her.

Thankful that I finally found the flowers
that hopefully will look perfect with her
Picture to be placed on the communion
table, so am about to order those. Then
the Memorial Service planning is all done.
#8
Thankful the flowers are now ordered and
should arrive at the church on Friday.
So we are all set for the service which
will be on Friday at 3:30.

Thankful my family remembered, with all that
was going on that we were supposed to celebrate
Belated Mother's Day, as I had actually forgotten
about it.
#12
Thankful that we did our new tradition that
we started back in April the last time the
kids were here from S. Carolina, Taco
night, Dee and Brooklyn got a lovely dessert,
and loved the sweet gifts as always, but most
of all to have both my children and my grand
daughter present. That was the best blessing
of all..............
Well, Folks, that is all for this week.
Glad you ould stop by
and
Have a Wonderful Week Ahead,
Love, Hugs and
last of May Blessings,
Nellie
