Tablescape playing with Green #3

Evening Sweet Friends,

So how was your weekend??
Hope you had a good one.

Ours was good, we got our toy
organizer in on Friday and put it
together and in place on Saturday.
Very happy with the results.  Can't
wait to see lil darlings reaction...lol

Sunday was our normal, Church,
frozen yogurt and ran to the grocery
store for us and Susan.  Susan is
doing very well, but has not been
released to drive quite yet,  but
should be in a few weeks,  she is
chomping at the bit....
Just can't imagine why.....lol

Today I just worked on this post,
yakked for hours with my girl,
and made my Mom's potato salad
recipe and a pot of Kale.  Had them
with some Ham,  and it was a very
good meal if I do say so myself.  lol

Thought oh yea, I need to put my
Mom's potato salad recipe on my
blog sometime soon,  as it is really
a great recipe, and it will be another
recipe stored for my kiddos, and I
am betting you would really enjoy
it too.

Well, here is the 2nd place setting
from my playing with green series.

Remember this pic from last week
where I did 3 place settings with a
green tablecloth, placemats and
salad plates.
I showed you the first place setting
which was the green and yellow one.

This week I am showing you the
 2nd place setting.....
it is simply green and white.

This was the original centerpiece
I started with...............

I used my wedding china, silver and
stemware to make it a more traditional
and formal place setting this time.

and added in some photoshop affects
 as well.....this one has an
Equalized affect with lens flare

See the bird glowing,  that is because of
 the lens flare.

I used the grey ribbon to tie the napkin
because I found it in my stash. and the
print on my china has some grey in it.
So thought it and the lil birdie were a
nice compliment since I already had
some birds in the centerpiece.

with poster edges affect

I always love green and white
as it just has such a fresh look
to it..............

With Equalized Posterized affect

With  cutout affect

and Normal..............lol

Did you notice any changes between
the header pic and this one??
Just checking to see how observant
 you are!!  lol
Let me know what you think the
 change is.......

  3. Nellie, I'm loving the greens. I'm a green fan too. My whole house inside and out is painted green. Inside is the colour you see when looking at a piece of thick glass...that's what I told the painter I wanted and that's what he gave me. And outside is the sort of blue/grey/green of our famous gum trees. So your current green fascination is very enticing indeed. Love the gray ribbon around the serviette too. I'm pleased Susan is improving. Not long now and she'll be back to normal I hope. Love to you dear. Mimi xxx
