Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD,
the people he chose for his inheritance.
Psalm 33:12 NIV
Greetings Sweet Friends,
Hello and Welcome to June, can you
believe it. Summer is here as far as
I am concerned course, it's not quite
official yet. lol but who cares!!
Hope you are enjoying your days
having your kiddos home from school.
I always loved Summer just for that
reason. Always enjoyed having my
kiddos around and still do........
Also, congratulations to any of you
who have kiddos that Graduated
from primary,middle or High
School or college. Enjoy those
Celebrations....
Speaking of Celebrations....
Pictures today are from an
early Memorial Day Dinner
Table with the family last week.
It all started with fun
Patriotic decorations I rec'd
from my Son for Mother's Day.
He knows his Mama well...lol
I just sort of threw it together
quickly with what I had to go
with it....
I dubbed it my Apple berry Pie
and Mom Patriotic table. lol
Just love the plates and nice I can
use them for Valentine's day or
Christmas, Patriotic holiday or
just if I want to use red.
Now on with my Thankfuls....
#1
THANKFUL LIL DARLING AND
MY DAUGHTER HAD A GREAT
TIME WHEN SHE WENT HOME
WITH HER AUNT DEENA TO
SOUTH CAROLINA FOR
A FEW DAYS.
#2
THANKFUL I FINALLY GOT ALL
MY THANK YOU NOTES OUT.
#3
Thankful we had some time to do
a lil work at Susan's house, even tho
it's small stuff, at least it is less that
our Son has to do, as he has bigger
fishto fry to speed up this process,
and he has been so appreciative of
anything we do to help.
#4
Thankful that someone we prayed for
that goes to another church had a
problem with their Pastor . The guy
was gonna leave his church but decided
to have a meeting with his Pastor and
they reconciled and they will probably
be better friends than even before since
they went thru this situation. We have
seen the Lord do that lots of times.
God is good!
#5
Thankful for the K love awards on Friday
night, they were on Trinity Broadcasting
network and They are always good and
uplifting. Always fun seeing some of
the music artists that we like win too.
#6
Thankful for "Pom" tomatoes. If you
have never used them they are made in
Italy and have nothing in them but pure
tomatoes, and there is no citric acid in
them. Which is great cause my tummy
does not like citric acid
#7
Thankful that we got to see our Son
and lil darling today. They were over
working on Susan's house, so we went
over and they have just amazed us
with how much they have done in
such a short time. Then they came
over and we had a quick dinner
together, before they went home to
clean up and rest.
#8
Thankful we got to see them especially
lil darling cause we haven't seen her
in about a week and a half and she
is leaving on another trip this week,
so we probably want get to see her
again for awhile.
#9
Thankful for a new show we saw
on Discover + called "DC Cupcakes",
just saw the first two but really liked
it. It was about 2 sisters who gave
up corporate jobs to go into business
together running a bakery making
cupcakes.
#10
Thankful for my first Summer breakfast.
Blueberry Eggo waffles with strawberries,
blueberries and whipped cream.
Since it's June 1st it spells Summer
to me even tho I know it isn't officially
Summer until June 21st, I think it is.

Thankful for what an appointment at the dentist turned out to be. Went there, and
they said I had no appt. and in my head,
I am like what??? I had to take meds to be here. So they apologetically made me a new
appt. in July and we left, and thought well, Lord, I don't get this.... but guess we will
make the best of this day which we hope-
fully planned on doing afterwards if we
could, so we decided to go to Home Goods
to look around, as I haven't been there
in 6 months or more. So that is always a
treat for me. So we were looking around
and enjoying ourselves and I went down
an aisle and this young woman in her
20's, looked at me and said Oh, I love
your blouse and your hair, and I was
Shocked but pleasantly surprised, so
we sort of struck up a conversation and
come to find out she just moved here
from Calif. to go to school. She just
graduated with a Masters and is planning
on going for her PHD in Engineering.
We talked in the aisle for quite awhile
and she lives in another city not too
far from us, and so I gave her my phone
number and asked her if she had a church home and she said NO but I am interested,
in having one, so we had a conversation
and told her about our church, and she
put all the info in her phone and we had
other spiritual conversations, then we
parted company, and as soon as I walked around the corner it hit me, she was the reason I had NO dental appt., so I went
back and told her about that and that
God was looking out for her and she
started to cry an said you have no idea
how badly I needed to hear that.
Anyway, we parted company again,
and we just kept running into her, in
Home goods and in Home Sense and
we would conversate a lil more. It was
truly one of the sweetest encounters
I think I have ever had, and it was like
we just hit it off.........and she even
had things in common with hubby
since was a retired engineer as well.
She is clearly an encourager and I could
tell right away that she was a believer
in Jesus, cause her light was shining
brightly.

Thankful that she sent us a text
last night after she got home, and
said we made her whole day and
she was so happy she met us.
Can't tell you what that meant to
me as well, since I have been living
this homebound life these last months.
It was such a delight for us as well.
#13
Thankful that while we were in both
stores I had 2 other ladies ask me for
advice on things. I was so delighted
to see others reaching out, cause I am
typically the one to do that, so the
day was turned out to be way better
than I could have ever expected.
Gods good plan for our day.
Loved every minute of it....
Well, that's all for
Cozy Place today!
Thanks for stoppin by.....
And
Hope you have a Wonderfully
Blessed Week,

Love, Hugs and
First of June Blessings,
Nellie
