GREETINGS SWEET FRIENDS,
*
HOPE TODAY FINDS YOU WELL AND HAPPY
AND
FULL OF ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM!!
*
AM HAVING A FAIRLY PRODUCTIVE DAY:
GETTING SOME BUSINESS PHONE CALLS
DONE , AND GOING THRU SOME OLD
MAGAZINES AND FILING ONES I WANT
TO KEEP AND PITCHING EVERYTHING ELSE.
*
DON'T YOU JUST LOVE CLEANING STUFF
OUT??? I HAVE BEEN GOING TO DO IT FOR
AWHILE BUT JUST NEVER GOT TO IT, SO
SINCE I WAS BORED CAUSE OF MY ARM
LIMITATIONS YESTERDAY, I THOUGHT,
LORD, THERE MUST BE SOMETHING
PRODUCTIVE I CAN DO OR I MIGHT LOSE
MY MIND SOON, AND THE MAGAZINES
CAME TO MIND. I HAVE ALSO TAKEN SOME
PICS OF PRETTY THINGS I FOUND........
MOSTLY FLOWERS, OF COURSE !!
*
I DECIDED TO DO A TABLESCAPE
THURSDAY POST FOR TODAY.
*
AND NO, THIS ISN'T HUBBIES TIE,
IT IS HIS FATHER'S DAY TABLE
NAPKIN.
*
CUTE, HUH!!
HUBBY WAS IMPRESSED!!
*
*
HERE'S THE SPECIAL GUYS PLACE!!
*
I DECIDED TO GO WITH A MOVIE THEME
SINCE HUBBY LOVES WATCHING MOVIES
AT HOME OR IN THE THEATRE.
*
I MADE THR LIL MARQUEE SIGN
AND THE TICKETS YOU'LL SEE
WITH PRINTMASTER.
*
*
HERE IS AN OVERVIEW OF THE MOVIE
VIGNETTE, STACK OF DVD'S, POPCORN
(OF COURSE) WHAT IS A MOVIE WITHOUT
POPCORN, IBC ROOTBEER, DARK CHOCOLATE
(OF COURSE) HAVE TO BE HEART HEALTHY.
*
LATER I WAS THINKING I SHOULD HAVE
USED COKE CAUSE IT WAS MORE

AND INTEREST!!
*
*
PICTURE WITH PALETTE KNIFE AFFECT.
TICKET SAID, "MY FATHER, MY BROTHER AND ME"
*
*
THIS TICKET WAS AT MY SON'S PLACE.
THESE WERE THE TICKETS I MADE ON
PRINTMASTER, THEN I LOOKED UP NAMES
OF MOVIES THAT SEEMED TO BE POSITIVE
ABOUT FATHER'S, AND TYPED THEM ON,
THEN CUT THEM OUT.
*
I WANT TO TRY AND RENT THEM IN THE
NEXT FEWS MONTHS
THEN CUT THEM OUT.
*
I WANT TO TRY AND RENT THEM IN THE
NEXT FEWS MONTHS
AND SEE IF WE REALLY LIKE
ANY OF THEM.
*
*
THIS AFFECT IS PLASTIC WRAP
*
*
BET YOU CAN'T GUESS WHOSE PLACE
THIS WAS????
**
*
THIS WAS AT MY MY DAUGHTER'S PLACE,
BUT IT COULD HAVE JUST AS WELL BEEN
AT MY SON'S, CAUSE THEY ARE BOTH SO
MUCH LIKE MY HUBBY IN TEMPERATE.
*
*
THAT TICKET SAYS "FATHER OF THE BRIDE".
WE HAVE SEEN BOTH I AND II. THEY ARE
GREAT MOVIES IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THEM.
I THINK THE LANGUAGE IS GOOD...... BUT
I HAVE TO BE CAREFUL CAUSE WE HAVE
A TV GUARDIAN THAT BLIPS OUT THE
CURSING, SO WE FORGET THAT CAUSE WE
NEVER HEAR IT.
AND WE LOVE IT, I MIGHT ADD.
*
*
THE END TO A GREAT DAY!!
*
THANKS FOR DROPPING BY

Hi Nellie! This is such a cute idea for a tablescape! I know your whole family loved it!
ReplyDeleteYou are too clever! Love the tie napkins!!
Well, tomorrow at 12:00 I finally get my license! The certificate was delayed a day because it had the wrong zip code on it! How nuts! I did get the $15 back for overnight delivery, though! I have more to tell you but will tell you when we talk!
Tomorrow DeAnn is keeping Maddy for a few hours after we are done (we're going to Edgewater because they had the earliest appointment available) and I am having some "me" time. I have a couple of errands and then I may just go for a drive or visit one of my favorite spots. I don't know. I know I just could use some time.
Talk to you tomorrow!
Love you!
Becky
What a wonderful Father's Day table. Very creative. Love the tie napkin!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun Father's Day table! I know you must have made some man's day! I really adore those necktie napkins. Too cute. Thanks for sharing and happy TT to you!
ReplyDeleteNellie, I love your ideas for Father day. Very creative. I am sure your husband felt very special and your kids loved it, too!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Johanna
Nellie, this is so darn cute...love it and the movies and all the Dads we all know and love. I will be so happy when I see you are feeling better. How did that interview go? I am so far behind on my blogging and I want to get caught up. It seems that once a few days have passed the enthusiasm for doing one wanes. I like to keep it current but sometimes it is hard to do with life happening at a pretty fast clip these days.
ReplyDeleteToday I want to work on the parties that Jim has had over the last several days. Be well soon, OK?
Love and hugs, Bon
That is probably one of the cutest tables I've seen in a lonf time - especially for Father's Day. Makes me feel really bad for my sweet Hubbie. With my returning from Florida late Sat. night, Sunday was a bit "thrown together" for him. He was happy and felt loved, I'm sure but how nice it would have been to do something so special and personalized!
ReplyDeleteYou definitely will be my go to girl for ideas when the next holiday comes around - ah ha, Fourth of July. Any great ideas?? Maybe you could share on tomorrow's Friday with Friends!
Take care - Jennifer
I love this theme. The napkin tied like a tie was soooo clever!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun table for Father's Day! I love the way you made the napkin into a tie.
ReplyDeleteWhat a Happy Father's Day! (I got the priveledge to attend!!) It was just great to see in person the necktie napkins, the movie place cards, and best of all the delicious food!!! I just love spending time with you and our family of loved ones!
ReplyDeleteI love you all very much,
Susie
Very creative. I love the necktie. I am really hungry for popcorn now,
ReplyDeletePraying for healing, Take it easy.
Blessings
Janet
Wow!!! I love it!! Love, love, love the napkin! What a clever idea! You did a great job on the table, as always!!!
ReplyDeleteHope hubby hears back soon!
Hi Nellie,
ReplyDeleteReally clever concept, beautifully executed! I loved all the attention to detail. It was fun seeing the different photographic effects and reading your thoughts as you described the setting and your family.
Regards,
Bill
