MY DADDY IS 78 YEARS OLD AND MY FIL IS 89 YEARS OLD. LIFE IS FRAGILE, IS IT NOT.

Happy Daddy's Day, Jim! You are a great dad, first because you love the mother of your children, Nellie so much! This is something your kids will never forget. I thank the LORD, He has reminded me of those times dad loved mom like this. My fondest is when we lived in Virginia Beach and dad was chasing mom around the Spartan trailor we lived in. Mom would run out in the cabana with dad on her heels, then she would shoot into the back door of the trailor squealing with laughter! Children don't usually see their parents acting like kids, lol! What wonderful times...and more to come in the future with our Heavenly Father!

ReplyDeleteWe sent out a box to my hubby 2 weeks ago filled with a bunch of fun stuff, a couple of books and his usual chocolate! And we made sure there was plenty of confetti in the box so when he opened it he knew it was special. Sad to say we didn't get to speak with him. It just doesn't seem to work out much lately. He did get on line last Monday but only for 2 minutes. Awful. But he does send me an email every day, sometimes a few during the day.
I know you could never make that mac and cheese you commented on! It's not very healthy, but every once in awhile, it's okay.
