MORNING SWEET FRIENDS,
*
SO........ WHAT'S UP!!!
*
HAVING A GOOD DAY??
SURE HOPE SO!!!
*
THOUGHT IT WAS TIME FOR A FUN DAY,
SO I AM LINKING UP WITH SUSAN AT BETWEEN
NAPS ON THE PORCH FOR TABLESCAPE THURSDAY.
THOUGHT I WOULD SHARE A ROMANTIC
SPRING/SUMMER TABLESCAPE FROM A
BIRTHDAY LUNCHEON I DID FOR A
SPECIAL FRIEND SOME MONTHS BACK.
*
SET THE TABLE FOR 3 CAUSE I THOUGHT
HER DAUGHTER MIGHT JOIN US AS WELL,
BUT IT WOUND UP JUST THE 2 OF US.
*
*
AND WE HAD A DELIGHTFUL TIME,
CHATTING AND LUNCHING.
*
*
WE HAD CHEF SALADS WITH
DELICIOUS WHOLEGRAIN BREAD.
*
*
THIS WAS THE CENTERPIECE WITH
A POSTERIZED AFFECT
*
I LIKE TO ROLL THE NAPKINS UP
AND PLACE THEM IN THE BOWLS
SO THAT YOU CAN SEE THE ROSES
*
*
WE ALSO HAD FRUIT SALAD
AND RASPBERRY TEA
*
*
WITH HER FAVORITE CAKE,
CARROT CAKE.
COMPLIMENTS OF PUBLIX SUPERMARKETS.
IT IS SUPER DELIGHTFUL!!
*
*
ALONG WITH A LIL
GOODIE BAG!!
*
LOVE THESE PRETTY ROSES AND HYDRANGEAS.
*
*
THIS TABLE WAS SET THE NEXT DAY
FOR 4, AS MY DAUGHTER AND HER BEAU
CAME FOR DINNER
*
*
DIFFERENT GLASSES, THIS TIME PINK.
*
SAME CENTERPIECE BUT TOOK AWAY THE
BIRDS AND ADDED CANDLELIGHT INSTEAD.
*
*
SAME TABLECLOTH AND NAPKINS, BUT
DISPLAYED THE NAPKINS DIFFERENTLY.
*
*
ALSO USED CUPS THIS TIME.
*
THIS PIC HAS A PHOTOSHOP AFFECT
CALLED EQUALIZED.
GIVES IT A DEEPER RICHER COLOR.
*
ROSES, ROSES EVERYWHERE!! LOL
*
*
CANDLE WITH A POSTERIZED AFFECT.
*
*
SAME DISHES BUT FOR SOME REASON
THEY LOOK DIFFERENT FROM THIS
VANTAGE POINT.
*
*
THIS HAS A PAINT DAUBS AFFECT.
*
*
THIS WAS THE MAIN PART OF OUR DINNER,
ROAST BEEF, MASHED POATOES AND
OVEN ROASTED CARROTS
*
ALSO SERVED WITH SALAD
AND WHOLEGRAIN ROLLS.
*
WELL........................
THAT'S ALL FOLKS!!
WILL STILL POST THANKFUL THURSDAY,
JUST TOMORROW EVENING LATE.
*
BE SURE TO GO OVER AND CHECKOUT

Your dishes are so pretty. I love the way the rims look. These is such a pretty table. It was fun to see the same table with some simple changes to give it a different look.
ReplyDeleteNellie, Your china is just gorgeous! Love those pretty napkins too and the beef, potatoes and carrots look delicious and the way you placed them on the platter is quite attractive. I'd never thought of serving them that way, I always have them in serving bowls. Thanks for the idea. Have a wonderful wknd, Nellie.

This is lovely, and what a nice thing to do for a friend's birthday - even her gift bag matches the tablescape! You did a great job of changing a few things and making the table work for two events. Dinner looks delicious. laurie
