HAPPY MONDAY A LIL LATE AGAIN!!

HAPPY MONDAY
 SWEET FRIENDS,

HOPE YOU HAD A GREAT WEEKEND!!

I HAVE TO SAY WE DID!!

FRIDAY NIGHT WE WATCHED A GOOD
MOVIE.  HAVE YOU EVER HEARD OF
"RAISING HELEN"??    IT HAS A VERY
GOOD STORY LINE AND
 SOME ROMANCE AND COMEDY!
IT IS A PRETTY CLEAN MOVIE TOO!!
WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!
WE WOULD GIVE IT A 4 OUT OF 5.

SAT. WE SPENT MOST OF THE DAY
GETTING THINGS PREPARED FOR OUR
DAUGHTER'S 26TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION.

AND SUNDAY WAS THE BIG DAY.....
FOR THE CELEBRATION THAT IS,
 HER BIRTHDAY
ISN'T REALLY UNTIL TOMORROW,
BUT KNEW IF SHE WANTED THE WHOLE
FAMILY HERE IT WOULD NEED TO BE
ON SUNDAY!!

SO SUNDAY IT WAS.............
AND WE ALL HAD A REALLY GREAT TIME
AS ALWAYS.  TUESDAY NIGHT HER BEAU
IS GONNA TAKE HER OUT TO DIN DIN, AND
THEY USUALLY DO STUFF AT WORK TOO,
SO SHE HAS PRETTY MUCH HAD A WEEK
 LONG CELEBRATION!!

  HEY, YOUR BIRTHDAY
ONLY COMES ONCE A YEAR SO YOU MIGHT AS
WELL CELEBRATE TO THE MAX I ALWAYS
 SAY!!  LOL

I HAVE TO SAY I WAS SORT OF A SLOW
MOVING VEHICLE THIS MORN, BUT HAD TO GET
UP AND GET MOVING SINCE I HAD TO GO TO
THE CHIROPRACTOR AGAIN, THEN RAN SOME
ERRANDS AND CAME HOME AND HAVE BEEN
COOKING EVERY SINCE.  DECIDED TO MAKE
A POT OF CHILI SO WE COULD MAKE
"WENDY'S STYLE" TACO SALAD FOR TOMORROW
NIGHT, CHILI IS ALWAYS BETER THE NEXT DAY!

TONIGHT I AM MAKING A POTATO DISH WITH
PEPPERS, ONIONS AND LEFTOVER LONDON
BROIL, IT USUALLY COMES OUT VERY GOOD,
SO LOOKING FORWARD TO IT.

HOPE YOU HAVE HAD A GOOD AND
 PRODUCTIVE MONDAY SO FAR!!

AND THAT YOU HAVE A
 TERRIFIC EVENING!!

LOVE, HUGS, AND BLESSINGS,
NELLIE

  4. Hi Nellie! I forgot that your daughter is the same age as my daughter. She was 26 in April! Sounds like fun family times celebrating her birthday. The chili sounds good, but I can't join you in eating it. I am allergic to chili powder and red pepper and don't dare eat anything that might have either of those in it. I carry around epi-pens now in case I accidentally have some without realizing it. The last reaction was bad enough that the next time could be even worse. So I will just eat something else while everyone has the chili. :-) I hope you are doing well. I have been trying to get around and visit more blogs again.

  5. Hi Nellie

I hope you had a great birthday celebration with your daughter. Your meal descriptions always make me hungry. LOL.....and talking about Chili we made chili in the crockpot at work last week and it was yummy....even though the weather is so hot the office is generally too cold.
Hope you are healing well and your Dr. visit helped.
    Blessings & Hugs

  6. Hope your daughter had a great birthday! It sounds like a nice celebration!

Mondays are always slow for me also but it's because I play the piano for both services at church on Sunday with not much rest in between getting home, getting dinner, and then back to church by 4:30 for rehearsal, etc.

Thanks for your comments on my hubby!!! He goes back on the 27th, but I'm not concentrating on that now!
