WE WENT TO THE CHIROPRACTOR YESTERDAY
AFTERNOON AS PLANNED, AND HE DID TAKE
NEW X-RAYS AND COMPARED THEM TO MY OLD
ONES. I ALREADY KNEW THAT I HAVE A
DEGENERATIVE PROBLEM IN MY NECK AND IT
HAS WORSENED SOME, BUT HE FEELS HE CAN
STILL HELP ME AT THIS POINT. I HAD 2 PINCHED
NERVES, SO HE DID AN ADJUSTMENT TO
UNPINCH THEM AND MY NECK WAS FEELING
WAY BETTER IMMEDIATELY,
TOOK A LIL LONGER FOR MY ARM, AND THE
NUMBNESS. IN MY FINGERS WILL TAKE A
BIT LONGER.

TODAY I AM A LIL SORE, BUT DEFINITELY FEELING
MUCH BETTER THAN THE DAYS SINCE LAST THURS.
THE SORENESS IS NORMAL, AND I WILL BE GOING
FOR MORE ADJUSTMENTS 3 TIMES A WEEK FOR
AWHILE PROBABLY. WILL KEEP TYPING LEFT
HANDED FOR A WHILE YET, HENCE THE ALL CAPS,
MUCH EASIER FOR ME. UNLESS THE LORD SEES
FIT TO HEAL MY NECK AT SOME POINT I MIGHT
NEED SURGERY, BUT THE LORD CAN ALSO JUST
MAINTAIN IT AS WELL. SO TIME WILL TELL,
BUT I AM ECSTATIC THAT THE DR. COULD BE
USED TO BRING RELIEF, SUCH A BLESSING!!

Sweet friend, I'm so sorry you are battling with your neck(my hubby has discs in the same situation but he hasn't gone to a chiro yet). Take it easy and don't overdo the exercise. I got news from my dr. yesterday about some blood tests that were abnormal-and that is worrisome. So clinging to His hand.

I am so glad to hear you are getting some relief.. I had a fabulous tuesday~! I spray painted a set of cannisters I got at gw in my new fav color Celery green and I big platter too. I built a wood cornice for over my patio door and got it primed and painted and ready to go up.. New blinds I ordered for that door arrived too. so yes indeedy doooo its been a good tuesday on Dream Lane,, giggle

Hi Nellie. So glad your Dr. could help some and come up with a definitive diagnosis. Hope your insurance finally got straightened out and that it is helping.
ReplyDeleteSo what kind of Tuesday...well, I went to the dentist and got my new crown so I am done with them until next year hopefully.
Other than that I have spent the entire day on the computer working on tweaking the budget, squaring up the credit card bill with all the travel expenses and the condo and who owed us what for the home repairs, etc. Ugh. Gathered up all the receipts for the taxes for the year. So that part of the day I can be done with anytime.
The best part was I finally got to talk to Laura after about three weeks of them being without phones~that was a joy. I sure missed her twice as much knowing I couldn't contact her. But all is well and they sound great and that was a fabulous blessing.
So it was a normal day. A few frustrations and some joys...earth life.
Jim is at scout camp until Saturday so I am alone, kinda nice...kinda creepy.
I will do a post on Laura and family or something tomorrow to update on their happenings.
More paper work and a redesign for my desk tomorrow. So much paper to get rid of I cannot wait!
You take good care and take it easy. Praying for you!
I'm glad the doctor was able to help. I'm fighting my own neck/jaw issue for the past week and it just takes the wind out of your sails when something hurts, doesn't it? I'm not very good at being patient and waiting for things to heal.

My Tuesday was an excited Tuesday because it is getting closer to Saturday when I get to see my Georgia grandkids.

My Tuesday was busy. I've been getting my pictures transferred over to my computer from my picture albums. I will put them back in the little book albums that have the pages you just slide the picture into, then turn the page, etc. I think the little albums are just the size of my DVD shelf. So they will be much more compacted than the old large albums.
ReplyDeleteThen I met my teacher friends (8 of us) at Chili's. We all were commenting on, "where did the summer go!" ha! I couldn't believe when we left, we had been there 3 1/2 hours!
After getting home, I relaxed in front of the t.v. before I went to bed with all of the dogs laying on my feet (Xena), in my lap (Gracie), head over my arm on the chair (Dolly), and Sam standing in front of me with a look of "Where have you been!" Never a dull moment!
