HAPPY MONDAY
SWEET PEAS,
*
SO......HOW ARE YA??
*
ENJOYING AUGUST??
CAN YOU BELIEVE WE ARE REALLY IN
AUGUST ALREADY?? SHOCKING, I THINK!!
*
WE HAD A PRETTY GOOD WEEKEND, BUT
MY NECK AND ARM HAVE REALLY BEEN
ACTING UP, SO I HAVE HAD ISSUES WITH
SLEEPING SO...............FINALLY DECIDED IT
WAS TIME TO GO SEE MY WONDERFUL
CHIROPRACTOR. IT HAS BEEN 7 YRS.
ALMOST SINCE I SAW HIM LAST CAUSE
I HAVE REALLY NOT HAD ANY REAL
PROBLEMS SINCE THEN.
*
I AM GONNA
HAVE HIM DO SOME NEW XRAYS TO
COMPARE WITH MY OLDER ONES CAUSE
I TOOK A SPILL ON MY BIKE ABOUT 4-5
YEARS AGO, FLEW OVER THE HANDLEBARS
AND LANDED ON TOP OF MY HEAD (ON THE
WET SOGGY GROUND, THANK GOD) AND
THEN ROLLED TO A SITTING POSITION.
THANKFULLY HUBBY WAS WITH ME.
*
I TYPICALLY USED TO GO BY MYSELF
MOST OF THE TIME, WHILE HE WAS
WORKING. THINK I SCARED HIM TOO
DEATH. WE HAVEN'T BEEN ON BIKES SINCE.
*
ONCE I RECOVERED FROM THE INITIAL
SORENESS OF THE FALL I DIDN'T HAVE
ANY PROBLEMS, THANKFULLY!! LATER AT
TIMES, MY SHOULDER WOULD BE A BIT SORE
IN ONE AREA , SO THINK I MIGHT HAVE
GOTTEN A HAIRLINE FRACTURE POSSIBLY.
WHO KNOWS!! LOL
COULD JUST BE OLD AGE. OR MENOPAUSE,
I BLAME THAT FOR EVERYTHING!! LOL
*
HOWEVER, I DO FEEL LIKE SOMETHING
HAS CHANGED OR SHIFTED MAYBE.
SO WILL SEE WHAT THE DR.SAYS, I GO
AT 2:45 TODAY!!
*
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE DOING THE
140 DAYS OF PRAYER FOR OUR NATION,
OUR SCRIPTURE READING FOR THIS WEEK,
WHICH IS WEEK 5, IS PSALM 85: 6-13.
WE ARE TO PRAY FOR REVIVAL AND
SPIRITUAL AWAKENING!
*
HOPE YOU HAVE SUPER DUPER LAST
WEEKS OF SUMMER FUN WITH
YOUR KIDDOS BEFORE THEY
GO BACK TO SCHOOL.
I KNOW IT IS COMING FAST.
*
SEE YA TOMORROW AND WILL LET
YOU KNOW WHAT THE DR. SAYS!!
*
TAKE CARE,
BLESSINGS AND HUGS,
NELLIE
Hi Nel,
ReplyDeleteI was wondering about your when I saw you were writing in all caps again. I am so sorry about this shoulder issue you are struggling with. I think sometimes and old injury can turn into a nice susceptible spot for arthritis to settle. That has happened to one of my knees which makes walking hard sometimes.
I hope your chiropractor can get you lots better. I have a lot of confidence in them, they really do help both Jim and I when we have something acute. They problems is the treatments are never ending. Our insurance pays for 20 a year so that is pretty good, we just have a 10.00 co-pay.
That bike accident of yours sounded pretty scary. I am glad you are mostly better and that you are nowt riding anymore!
Whoops I hit send accidentally!
ReplyDeleteI agree it is hard to believe it is August already. The time just keeps racing by and before we know it it will be Christmas again. I just ordered tickets for Utah for Christmas. Living far from your kids is costly!
Well, Nellie, I hope all goes well with your appointment and you will be on the mend.
Love you...Bon
Prayin' for ya!
Hope there is nothing serious wrong!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you are in pain again. I remember how awful that shoulder and arm pain was for you before. Will be praying for sure!
ReplyDeleteBlessings and ((HUGS))
I hope you find the cause of your pain. You are such a strong positive person I just love to follow you......
ReplyDeleteBlessings
Janet
I am just so thankful you didn't have a more horrible result from your fall. I know what you mean about riding bikes. That's why I had gotten the stationary one. You know I got rid of it because the seat was just too hard and made my tailbone hurt from the fall I had years ago! My, my the joys of getting older. I think it may be a way the LORD has us enjoy the afterlife...no more pain, aches, hurts!
ReplyDeleteDon't remind me of school, thank you, ha! The parents are so ready when school starts again!! May I be just as ready, ha!
I love all of you,
Susie
