  1. Hi Gal! Glad you were able to get some yard stuff done today! It sure as been hot! All went well at the Dr. Fill you in later. Nothing to be concerned about thus far.

I have to get on track with the prayer thing...I have slacked off. I will start again!

Love you and hope your evening is peaceful and delightful!

  2. My visit came just in time (after the work was done, lol!) I enjoyed my visit. Thank you for the info to add to my praise/intercession list! Your chairs...I would have to choose the simple, because it has very good leg supports! I have to look at the build rather than the beauty, ha!
    I love you all,
    Susie

  3. Love, love, love the first photo! So charming!
Bravo to you both for persevering in the HEAT.
Tony mowed the "weeds" (no lawn left due to broken sprinkler and deep winter freeze) at noon last Saturday...NOT the best time of day to do it!
As far as the lounger, I'm with you!
Though the tufted "warm" style is appealing too. Hope you have a great day. ((HUGS))

  4. Hi Nellie! We have a picket fence in front of our house but it doesn't look like the one in your picture! All our perennials are overgrown and need to be totally thinned out, and the fence needs repainted (again)! I love the hydrangeas though...humm...maybe that's what I'll plant when we tear out all the old stuff?? We designated last Sat. to do our yardwork which is way overdue. We are so far behind this year as it rained the entire month of June! Hubby & I worked all day out there but had to come in for frequent breaks and water...it was 90 degrees...we struck a blow for decency but still have more to do. We have some old and dying lilac bushes and pine trees that need taken out due to our extreme weather...on top of all the normal weeding, mowing, edging, etc. Our energy level sure isn't what it was 14 years ago when we planted all this stuff. What were we thinking? LOL...As far as the chaise -- I like the "warm" one...but then I'd have to replace all my old furniture to go with the style! My d-i-l has one that looks similar to the "simple" one...it is very comfortable! Have a blessed day...how's the job search going? Praying for you!

  5. Hi Nellie,

I have been traveling through my blogroll visiting, it has been fun. We have a casual and easy morning today with bowling at the BYU for the little ones around noon.

That whole incident with Dee's car was scary. I am so glad Jimmy did not get hurt. It is also wonderful that she as able to get such a good deal on a new car.

You guys are pretty brave venturing out into the hot Floridian sun to do yard work. Ugh! i have been wiped out like an old lady here in Utah we have had a little humidity too with high temps.

Sounds like you are all doing pretty well, I am glad your little grand dog recovered from the eye problem!

    Have a great day!

    Love, B

  6. Think I would definitely have to choose "simple" - to me it looks classic but I guess that is another category:) Good physical work feels so good - like early morning yard work! - oh, but the heat! Gotta love those Florida summers!! Hope it all got hauled away this morning -

    Take care
