Sweet Friends,
Hope this finds you planning
something fun for Valentines

early since it will be here before

Sweet Friends,
Hope this finds you planning
something fun for Valentines
Day or maybe even celebrating
early since it will be here before
we know it.........
Here's the quote for today!
“We want God to change
situations.
God wants to change
us in them.”
us in them.”
What to Do When God Does Nothing
Ewwww......This is something we
typically do not want to hear..........
Am I right! lol
But...............
I think it is so true....
so many times.....
I call it God's school room.........
He always has something to teach
us in almost every situation, so it
makes sense for us, to be looking
for what He has to teach us, cause
many times they reveal ways we
are not trusting Him, and they
are usually life changing.
I have another quote that sort
of speaks to this as well, it is by
Leslie Gould, The Amish Nanny.
"Sometimes God calms the storm,
and other times God lets the storm
rage and calms his child.
in the storm."
I have experienced both, and bet
you have too, if you think about it.
So next time a situation or a storm
comes along.....
remember Romans 8:28......and
it will help you to remember that
" in all things God works
for the good of those who love him,
who have been called according to
his purpose."
It always helps me to remind myself
of what this verse says, and then
to look for that good He promises.
Happy Pondering!

Have a blessed Sunday, Nellie.
(I'm sure YOU have some special Valentine's Day plans. Will look forward to hearing/seeing. Here? We do a lot of spur-of-the-moment stuff!)
Have a wonderful day, today, tomorrow and especially Valentines Day!
ReplyDeleteDear Nellie, you made me start pondering the Love GOD has for us and we have for each other
ReplyDelete1 John 4:16 tells us "So we know and rely on the Love GOD has for us. GOD is Love. Whoever lives in love lives in GOD, and GOD in them."
1 Thessalonians 4:9 continues with, "...for you yourselves have been taught by GOD to love each other."
2 Thessalonians 1:3 shares, "...your faith is growing more and more, and the love all of you have for one another is increasing."
1 Peter 1:22 further says, "...you have purified yourselves by obeying the truth so that you have sincere love for each other, love one another deeply from the heart."
1 John 3:11, commands, "For you have heard this message from the beginning, 'We should love one another.' "
And finally, GOD's WORD says in 1 John 4:7, "Dear friends, let us love one another for love comes from GOD. Everyone who loves has been born of GOD and knows GOD."
I think that Valentine's Day is a day we can celebrate the Love GOD has for us and in turn the love we have for family and friends! I love you all, Susan
Hi Rebecca,
ReplyDeleteNice to hear from you............I love pondering....it can be a very good habit....
Actually we just started making some plans yesterday, so nothing big but it will be fun

ourselves!! lol
Hope you have a blessed Sunday and a Happy Valentines day whatever you do.........and thanks
for stopping in.
Blessings, Nellie
