Happy New Year
Sweet Friends,
Hope you all had a safe and Blessed
New Years Celebration.
Ours was quiet as usual, and just
the way we like it. Have to say I did
want to have some friends over but
due to us still coughing we didn't
think it was a good idea, but there
is always after the New Year!! lol
Pictures today are from Cozy Place
Christmas this year.
Happened to catch this early one morning when the sun was coming up.
#1
Thankful for several visits from neighbors
that came in and sat awhile to visit on
Christmas Eve, it was nice to see them up
close and personal for a change and
to catch up with what has been going
on in their lives.
#2
Thankful for a truly Wonderful Christmas
with our family. We all had such a great
time being together.
#3
Thankful for all the lovely cards, gifts
and goodies we received for Christmas,
they were all very much appreciated
and enjoyed.
#4
Thankful that we actually had cold weather
all day long for Christmas, it has been years
since that has happened, so that even made
it more fun for us here in Florida.
Never got around to adding snow...........lol |
#5
Thankful for a fun dinner out the night
after Christmas to Olive Garden to
celebrate our Son-in-loves upcoming
birthday in early January. Since we
were all together we just decided to
celebrate it early.
#6
Thankful for leftovers......cause we are
tired.....a good tired, and so blessed
because of it, but one of the perks
of hosting is all the leftovers. lol
#7
Thankful our Daughter and hubby made
it home safe and sound.
#8
Thankful for a really neat Christmas House
that we got to visit on our way out to dinner.
Our neighbor told us about it, and we were
so glad he did. Their whole front yard was
done, and they had a trail you could walk
thru to see everything, it had music and
blew bubbles and snow at certain times,
had scenes from movies like Christmas
vacation and Christmas story. Lil Darling
loved it, and We all got a kick out of it as
well, it was all lit up and very pretty. A
nice treat for the night after Christmas.
#9
Thankful for a phone conversation with
a long time friend of 51 years. Always
great to talk with her, it's like we just
pick up where we left off.
#10
Thankful that we didn't have anything
we really had to do this week, as we
are both really tired for some reason.
Maybe we got a lil relapse from our
colds that we had prior to Christmas.
But even so, we have gotten a few
things accomplished.
#11
Thankful for these wonderful
cinnamon rolls that were made
by the husband and Daughter
of a young lady we have known
since she 3 yrs. old. I think they
do this every year to make extra
$$ for Christmas, so we have
heard about them and so got
some this year, and they were
really great.....
Tasted just like Cinnabons, so
we all really enjoyed them.
#12
Thankful one of my Daughters
Christmas presents finally got here
on Wednesday, it was mailed on
Dec. 7th but some how never made
it before Christmas, so we mailed
it on to her by UPS rather than
USPS since they took so long.
Well that's it from Cozy Place this week.
This is the another Christmas Edition.
Thanks for coming by.....
Hope you all have a Wonderful
New Year in 202l, and that is full
of Love, Peace, Joy and Faith.
Love, Hugs, and
New Year Blessings!
Nellie
