We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In him our hearts rejoice,
for we trust in his holy name.
May your unfailing love be with us, Lord,
even as we put our hope in you.
Psalm 33: 20-22 NIV
Greeting Sweet Friends,
and Welcome to July............
Wow, that sure seems to have happened very fast. It was June and zoom........now it's July! lol
Can hardly believe "Independence Day" is just
2 days away. Having a quiet and contemplative
day here today, which is always a good thing.
Hope you are doing well....
and
Since the 4th of July is just a few days
away, Pictures are all things patriotic....

Thankful for different fonts that we can use
as we type whatever.............this happens to
be one of my favs, it is called "Pacifico"
and I just love it. I kept thinking I have
seen this font used somewhere before, and
I think it must be the font they use for
"Hello Kitty" products, that was just
a free tidbit. lol

Thankful for a sense of humor......
God is so good to give us a sense
of humor, cause sometimes we need
a good laugh at ourselves, and He
also says in this word that laughter
is good medicine for the soul.
I could not agree more!!
Thankful to see our Son and lil darling
down at Susan's house this weekend.
We met with a window guy as the bay
windows needs to be replaced. He will
be able to get 4 windows for the price of
3, installed, as well. So that takes care
of the front of the house, all the other
windows are in good shape, thank goodness.

Thankful that we were able to go see
our lunch buddies, Dad today, he has
been committed into hospice care. He
is gonna be 104 yrs. old this week.
It was so so good to see all of them,
as sadly between us and them our lives
have just not been able to connect
much in the last months.

Thankful that we were also able to attend
the Memorial Service of the X husband of another long time friend who has 3 children,
and of course, they are older now, between
the ages of 19 -25 yrs old I would say,
and of course, they were all devastated.
We have known them thru most of their
growing up years, so really wanted to
show or love and support to them today
by going to the Memorial Service.

Thankful after the other 2 events we
were able to go to dinner at Long Horn
steakhouse. I was starving by then
and everything was so delcious. We
have not been there in ages it seems.
Thankful that another long time friend
had her ear healed. A Dr. punctured it
and she thought she might have to have
surgery on it, but was prayed for and
thank the Lord, when she went to a new Dr. it was completely healed.

Thankful to find out that our friend who
has been so sick finally got a card we sent.
For some reason it got wet and her post
man took good care of it, and got it to her
but it was quite a bit late. I had been
wondering if I had not addressed it
correctly or something, as I did have an
incident where I sent a thank you out to
someone who attended Susans Service and
all she got was an empty envelope. lol
Yikes...hoping that was just because of
all the stress at the time.
Thankful my back is doing better today,
I somehow hurt it again. This almost
seems like a cyclical thing, but feel like
it is feeling better for longer and when
I do hurt it doesn't seem to last as long
Thank the Lord....

Thankful God is in control of our World
and especially of our Country.
Thankful to live in the United States
of America, the best country on earth.
I lived in Germany when I was first
married, and altho we liked and enjoyed
it, we were very happy to get back home
after living there for 10 months, and
traveling to a few other countries as well.

So Thankful we have freedom of religion
here and that our country was founded
on Godly principles from the Bible.
We are incredibly blessed to live here.
