when I was in the 5th grade....we had
a teacher who loved our country and
had us sing Patriotic songs every
morning after we said the pledge
of Alligance to the Flag.
I thank
the Lord for that teacher and his
fervent Patriotism I think he taught
all his students the same, at least
this one anyway..........lol

Yes, you are so right, there is indeed still much to be grateful for, an indeed much to be
in prayer about.............
We actually wound up celebrating yesterday with some friends, it was simple, casual and lots
of fun and chatting.........and we made a long night of it.... watched "Zootopia" Quite a cute Movie" and
Today we have worked on our bed frame, played cards, eaten left over mexican food and worked on our bed somemore.....it is finished finally....PTL My hubby can fix anything,
he's amazing!!

Dearest Nellie, I hope that you celebrated the 4th in style. We celebrated your National holiday by attending a Show game of Ice Hockey between USA and Canada. Ice Hockey is not a huge sport here in Oz, and the teams were here promoting it. It was lots of fun, and we even got to sing the Star Spangled Banner (which we only know from watching movies...lol!). We live in uncertain times, and we should all be united in prayer and celebration, don't you think? Much Love, Mimi xxx

before, only seen them on TV.......lol So you are way ahead of me girl......love that

We did celebrate, and the whole thing was quite a surprise....you will read about it
