We don't want to be christians
who are so heavenly minded that
we are NO earthly good,

but
I would say that most of us would do
well, to focus a bit more attention on
heaven and it's benefits because it helps
us to weather the storms of life; But
our real focus should be on the Beauty
of Heaven, as one day, we will pass from
this earth and will one day actually see
Jesus face to face.
So we need to make sure that we are
ready for that day..... by knowing Him,
and knowing that Heaven is our real
home, and that it will be.....
for all of eternity.

ReplyDeleteI just love your "Quotes to Ponder." They really get me to pondering, ha! Heaven is not only the great hope in Christ Jesus, but it is His promise to us who believe in His forgiveness of our sins! That's why it is so important to share His Love to each person we come into contact with. His word says we now can't look upon Him and live, but then we will look upon Him Face to face! There will be no marrying or giving in marriage there, for His Church is the Bride of Christ! What joy to share with the lost, to live forever in perfect bodies glorifying, praising, and honoring out Awesome, Almighty, Creator, Savior, Holy Father GOD, Hallelujah!
