Scripture Sunday - Without Faith

Happy Sunday Morning
Sweet Friends,

Here is the scripture for today!

without faith it is impossible
to please God, because anyone who
comes to him must believe that he
exists and that he rewards those
who earnestly seek him.
Hebrews 11:6 NIV

We, as people trust all sorts of things
including people and animals, for
example we trust a chair to hold
us when we sit in it, and we trust
that the lights are gonna go on when
we flip the light switch, and we trust
those we love to be honest and loyal
to us, and we trust Drs.and nurses
and many others to take proper care
of us and we trust chef's and servers to
give us untainted food and beverages,
and I  have even seen pics where
some people trust their tiny newborn
babies with big dogs like Great Danes
or pit bulls.  Most of this is natural,
and we should be able to trust, and
of course, sometimes unfortunately
these things prove untrustworthy.
Now for me the last one  with the dog
is way over the top, but it is true that
 it happens,
My point is..... if we can trust all
 these situation that I mentioned
and I am sure there are many many
more we could think of.....

So how much more important that
we have faith and trust in the most
 trustworthy person their ever
 was
 or will be......

Just some thoughts to ponder!

Have a Restful Sabbath ,

Hugs and Blessings,
Nellie

  1. Talking about animals, just think of those who trust the lions and tigers they work with each day in their training of them!!! One Day, thee Day, Psalms 145:31 is going to come to pass, "Let ALL CREATURES praise His Holy Name FOREVER AND EVER!" That means the animal kingdom will be praising GOD forever and ever, knowing truly Who He Is! PS 36:6 also says, "O, LORD, You preserve both man and beast." Revelation 19:14 says, "The ARMIES OF HEAVEN were following Him, (Jesus) riding on white HORSES and dressed in fine linen." Animals ARE going to be in heaven. The Bible also speaks of GOD not being a respecter of persons, I believe He equally will not be a respecter of animals as well. Ps 50:7-11 says, "I Am GOD, your GOD...for every animal of the forest IS Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills (ARE MINE). I know every bird in the mountains and the creatures of the field ARE MINE." His allowing horses to be in eternity, I don't think He will dismiss His other animal creation to be there either, especially those that were used as sacrifices in the Old Testament. He created them all and it wasn't their fault man chose to sin and brought down creation. He knows when the least sparrow falls in death. (Matt. 10:29) Why would that even be mentioned if He didn't count them of value and worth. GOD opened the eyes of Balaam's donkey to see GOD's angel blocking the path. After Balaam beat the donkey so bad to move, GOD even allowed the donkey to talked "She (donkey) said to Balaam, 'What have I done to you for you to beat me these three times!' (Num. 22:21-39) Balaam even answered the donkey, "You have made a fool of me..." Yes, man is GOD's CROWN of creation, but that doesn't mean He disrespects His other creation. He even mentions if there were no person to cry out to Him in glory, the very stones would CRY OUT in glory to His Name (Luke 19:40) I think living creatures are more important than inanimate objects! Who's not to say He even now has a special relationship with each animal that we don't even know about. Man wants to call it "instinct" that animals in the wild know their habitat and survival. Who gives them that instinct!! GOD does! There are going to be many surprised people of GOD when they get to heaven to see All of His creation in glory with Him and audibly praising His Name as Ps 145:21 says! Love you all, Susan

  6. Hi Mimi,
So very nice to hear from you. I am doing well, thanks for asking. Our daughter Dee was just
home for a few days, so we had a great time, it just goes by way too fast tho, but we are
just thankful we had the time we did.

So when will your daughter graduate?? Our schools have been out since the end of May or
early June. I would expect she has senioritis.....as both of mine did....and I even remember
having it altho it was over 47 yrs. ago......lol You are geared to being done and just want
to get on with it, and that is all there is to it.....

Hope all goes well with her graduation and the rest of the year and that things turn out
the way she wants, but only if the Lord knows it is best for her.......

Thanks for coming by Mimi, it is always a treat to hear from you hon.
    Love and blessings galore,
    Nellie
